Default Need Parts Leaking Differential Dana TB000610

So, I noticed a leak last week, wiped it off and confirmed its leaking but its leaking in two places front and rear seals. I spoke to another member up here and got a ton of useful info and contact email addresses from Dana in Austrailia. Just wanted to know is their no place in the US to get these seals? Anyone else had a failure like this. I'm told the original seals failed due to exposure to an additive in the grease and the new seals are impervious to this. I am told that you have to have seals for the serial number range of these rear ends. What are others experiencing and what have you all done about it? Thanks
Peter

The Dana Rear end in this car was also in the Holden Imported Pontiac (2005) GTO.

I would start there.

Right, I found them. Pontiac GTO from 2004 through 2006 no problem.

I haven't heard of that. We have 037 and it is one of the earlier coupes,12K+ and no leaks. It may be a new additive since ours was built, but we don't have any leaks...at least not when I came in from the shop a few minutes ago.

The Dana BTR rear end is also in the new Camaro I think. Seals/gaskets, etc. should not be a problem and may even be available aftermarket.

Well, Olthoff Racing appears to be having problems getting the right seals. Not sure I understand the problem but it has added now more than a weeks delay. See what this week brings. I have the part numbers from Dana and of course Dana has the seals. The Pontiac GTO 2004 thru 2006 is supposed to use the same ones. Had not heard about the Camero. The problem is when my unit was manufactured in 2002 ( can you believe it sat around all that time? ) they used a different material to make the seal than they use today and an additive in the lubricant causes premature failure.
