Default Comparison between cobra and coupe?

Starting the thought process, for the next project (current one is almost done)
I was mulling around the idea of a GT40 but ruled that out after talking to a guy with one, last year at this time.
I have been thinking about a coupe for quite a while. For those of you who have driven both the roadster and coupe, how would you compare the two.

In particular day to day driveability, comfort on long trips, road/vehicle noise?

Hi there, I had a SPF Roadster and SPF Coupe. Both are great but very different. The Coupe is:

A road car; travel comfortably
Interior is quiet
Ride is better
Handles better - more nimble
Can close it up if it rains
Secure
AC
Radio you can hear

Downsides:

Ventiflation inside is not great but it has AC
Can't get a suntan while driving
Hair stays in place
Everyone asks what it is

I have both and there is something about a Cobra that I just like. Maybe it is the fact that your noggin is out there bobbling in the wind and other elements. You can't see great in either but in the Cobra you can at least turn your head and see a bit more.

The Coupe is a bit quieter and handles better at speed. Fewer of these guys around and most people think they are Corvettes. I like both but if I could only have one it would be my Cobra.

Wow.... two very different cars. I believe only you can answer and depends on what you want and plan to do with the car. Made me remember when my father asked me once..... he asked " So, which car is better... your Lexus LS or your BMW M5 ?". My response was, Dad... you can't compare them, even though they are both 4 door sedans, they are two very different cars intended to two different purposes. I think your Cobra coupe or roadster question falls into the same boat.

You should think about… if important to you, the intended purpose. List all these, then pick your car. Some points/considerations/questions you might consider are:

Would your drives only be planned for good weather, will you race, do you like a open top, resale value, are you going for a certain look, is AC, noise, air/wind important to you, etc. etc. ???

Good Luck and keep up posted.

Mark
