Those look like very nice wheels. Just be sure that the back spacing is OK for your car and that they will fit around whatever brakes you have.

Then I have the best of the two worlds, handsome rims and modern tires

I will try to post a link from the rims.

As I see it, there's two ways to build a Cobra.

1-old school with a FE or small blk Ford. 15" wheels & stuffing the wheel well with tire.

1- modern hot rod with a higher tech computerized 385 series or small blk and 17"-20" stuffing the wheel wells with wheel, not tire.

There's nothing with either, but I prefer old school "tough" looking Cobra over the "hot rod".

I went with the half polished (the full polished is too bright)15" wheels from Team 3, with their spinners and lug covers, which look great.

If I ever bought new wheels, I'd get their ET Trigo 427, as I like the flatter outer section.

ET Wheels by Team III Wheels

They now have them in 18".

With the 17" (+) make sure the wheels won't touch the brake calipers !

Yes, search "Superformance Brock Coupe" for pictures. Ignore the wheels on the red coupe that is Peter Brock's car, he has his own custom wheels on the car.

Hi all,

A small update on the project.
The engine decision is over.
My engine builder called me a while ago about a Ford 302 that was up for sale.
As it turned out it was a Dart block, but instead of a 302 it’s a 363.
It was the spare engine of a drag racing team.
That engine ran on ethanol because of the compression ratio.
So it has been disassembled and rebuild for pump gas.
I hope to post some pictures
Greetings

Hello all,

Update

It is not a 302 block but a 289 and would like to purchase a pulley setup for the alternator, water pump and air conditioning.
There is an ati muffler on the crankshaft and the water pump is installed.
Can anyone help me ,I don't know what to look for when purchasing.
And since I live in Europe sending it back is not an option.

I will try to post pictures

CVF Racing has great systems. https://www.cvfracing.com/ford-289-3...lternator-a-c/

I'd be inclined to order the system with pulleys so you don't end up with a system that's incompatible with your pulleys. Alternatively, you could reach out to their technical support to sort out exactly what you need. That's what I did when I ordered from them, and they advised me that I needed to change my power steering pulley, but that my March Performance water pump and crankshaft pulleys were 100% compatible. Technical support is at https://support.cvfracing.com/hc/en-us
