Daytona coupe Upstate Super Replicars

Hi all

I am new here from the UK and currently looking at what options exist for Daytona Coupe replicas. While I'd love a superformance alloy car or tool room copy car my budget isn't going to go that far.

However, I recently saw a car sell on Bring a trailer which was a Upstate Super Replicars car. This seemed to be a nice looking car that had an original look but without the hefty price tag of some other manufacturers.

Does anyone know if there are many of these cars around? I saw that a company called Lesher Motorsports may have taken over from Upstate so does anyone have any info on if these cars are available, costs and contacts?

You may want to look at import laws in the UK. I have friends there that indicate cars need to be 100% to the original which may put you in a bind? Now they imported running cars CSX4000's but seems like UK is critical of details but it may be different with a kit assembeled over there?

The 4000 cars ned to be alloy, correct suspension, correct brakes etc...
