Default Daytona Coupe Photos

I got a chance to photograph a Daytona Coupe today. It is on display at the Shelby American showroom if anybody wants to come see it in person. It is a McCluskey version that is built on a roadster chassis. I am not certain of the CSX number. The workmanship is first rate. BTW, it's for sale. $350,000 takes it!!

Kris,

Thanks for posting the photos! Excellent detail photos, I'm going to study them thoroughly and get back to the garage and see what I can do

Great photos!!! I am just finishing up my LS 427. I want to drive it for a little while, sell it and build a Daytona Coupe replica. This is great reference materials. Excellent photos! Thanks for sharing them.

In an earlier post to this thread I stated my intention on completing my current LS 427, enjoying for awhile and moving on to build a Daytona Coupe. I am interested in getting feed back from anyone who has built a Coupe. Educate this kit car freak.

Default Lynn Parks' Daytona Coupe

SpecialK, this Daytona had a magazine feature article done on it a few years back. Lynn Parks bought a burnt out 289 Cobra and used it for the start of the conversion to a Daytona Coupe. Mike McCluskey did a great job on the conversion. In the magazine article they actually showed the 289 cobra just as Lynn Parks found it. How much of the original chassis used in the reconstruction is questionable since it surely was weakened in the fire.

All the Best!

Great photos of a great car!! Amazing, that a car designed in 1964 is 'still' the hottest looking coupe ever built. I love the Daytona Coupes.
