Saw it at the Shelby Amer Auto Club in Nashville, TN this past May. Picked it up this past Thurs Eve and took it to the drags Friday eve with a bunch of other Cobra Roadster replicas. I had less than 12 mles driving experience when I got on the track. All the drivig was done around the large paved parking lot of the strip (test and tune night).
I did 3 rus and my fastest was 14sec @92 mph. We ad some experiencesd cobra guys doing 11's and 12's.
So far I LOVE the car. I also have a Unique Cobra Roadster (built in 1983)
My R&D Coupe was built 5 years ago by a guy in the midwest that had built 2 others. It is well sorted out and a blast to drive. I have to work on the seating positin (seat bolted in) The car has what I have been told is a stock 1987 302 with headers and mild mufflers.
I plan to do some test and tune on a road race course in December. Will take me a little time togt it sorted out but so far so good. Has a great front end with adj caster and camber. Will keep you posted.
I would like to get some more activity on this site. cb

My SPF Coupe is on the water and should be at Doug Reed's mid December.
Should have it all sorted out in time for the TCC bash in Austin in February.
It's car #26. Galaxie blue with white stripes and meatballs.

Me too new here, Hi!
I in love with the Superformance Brock Coupe, been lucky enough to see one (awaiting engine and trans) was impressed with the build quality, design, fit and finish. Interested to hear anything about it...if you have just got one, wow and congratulations, any comments re how the purchase / order process went for you? Any problems? Keen to know how you find it it drives / handles? Have you been out in rain / washed it yet, does any water get in anywhere?

Note that my new-to-me is not a Brock: it is a R&D Research Conceptsmodel: crrude by Brock standards but more like the original (for better and worse).
I hope to see a Brock when I am in Ohio next week for Turkey day-my parents just live about 15 miles from the Ross Ohio distibutor.
I went with an R&D because of cost (it was built 5 years ago by a guy who has uilt several others and was a turn-key with 5000 miles on it when I got it 2 weeks ago).
I have a Unique Roadster plus a turbo Miata for the track and needed to spread my resource ($$) around. chip in Atlanta

i just bought Gary Cheney's old FFR coupe. Just picked it up yesterday so i can't really say what i like/don't like other than it's DAMN fast, damn cool looking, and it made the 400 mile trip from san fransisco to los angeles without a problem.

FFR COUPE
Hi Steve,
Your new car looks very nice. What kind of engine is installed in your Daytona coupe? (289, 302, 351...?). Is it a fuel infected or a carburated induction? Is the driver seat position OK? What are your first impressions about the transmission, the brakes, the steering ? Your informations are welcome.
Happy New Year and all the best.
Bernard

all part information can be found here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2446547506
I am just over 6'1, and very skinny. The drivers position is absolutely perfect for me. The tranny has a nice firm short shift that i love and is smooth. The steering is dead on center solid. I drove it home from san fransisco to Los Angeles (400 miles). I could have taken the steering wheel off and just let the car track totally straight for the whole way. I haven't driven a manual steering car in a while though and am not totally used to the heavy feel yet.
I have a track day and an autocross scheduled in the next two weeks so i will be able to give a better report after that. This car should really shine on the track. As far as the brakes, i am expecting them to stop very very quickly. However the pads in there right now are more race oriented and i haven't gotten them heated up enough on the street to really do a good job. I'd be happy to answer any other questions.
