Default linkage configuration from scratch???

Hi David,

what a bone head move.... heh heh about six months ago i painted my tranny. now that i'm almost ready to install it, I went to reinstall the linkage and just discovered there is about 300 combinations of ways to place the shifting arms !!! up, down ,facing in , facing out!! not to mention what position should the shaft's themselve's be in? right now I feel like that old ammco commerical, you know, the one with the 2 monkeys hitting a transmission with sticks and screaching... heheh well I'm stummped and hungry. I'm gonna go eat a bannana

thanks david

Hey Col, Ive got a hurst indy shifter for my toploader which i bought with no linkages at all, wouldnt mind a copy of that diagram myself. P.S. i have a bullnose toploader being bolted to my 460 as we speak, just wondering if you have had many problems with your combo?
Thanks, Andy.

Default Hurst installation instructions

If you go to www.mrgasket.com, click on the hurst logo, then run your mouse pointer over the tab near the top that says "Instruction Sheets" a pull down menu wil appear and you can select hurst. There are a lot of installation kit instructions there.
