Unhappy Bullnose extension housing

Hi David, Andy from Melbourne, Australia here. Just hoping for some help, I have a bullnose toploader with a long extension housing mated to a 460BB which we have just trial fitted into my cobra. Problem is that we will have a tailshaft that is only about 9 inches long. I was just wondering if the bullnose T/L was ever available with a shorter extension housing and shaft that we could install instead, or will we have to get a new shaft machined and shorten the extension housing to give us a longer tailshaft?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Andy.

The tailhousing lengths are typically 14" - 15 1/2" and 17". You may have an aftermarket shaft that was made for a Bronco or something. Normally in a cobra you would use a 14" shaft and tail. We have new mainshafts and can come up with a tailhousing if you need it.
