Default Tire clearance

I asked the members what brand of tires they liked. The general concensus was the Yokahamas. The one thing they all warned of was very close spacing on the rear with the 295/50/15. Have you had /have any concerns with the closeness to the fender on the rear with the big tread of the Yokahamas?

In my case, with the Contemporary body and Jag front and rear suspension the rear tires is no concern, could probably even take a 325 like the BFG drag radial.
The front with a 245/60-15 is tight, and I would not go wider unless you raise the car and increase ground clearance. It all depends on the offset of the wheel.
It probably is very dependent on which Cobra you have. In any case, the 245/60-15 and 295/50-15 have the same height and look "right" on the car. I have the white letters in the inside, so unless you look close you will not see the Yokohama name on the tires.
