Default May 8th Cobra Gathering Pictures

Well,

You guys really missed a very large cobra turnout for a local event with the final destination in Lake Suzy at the Nav-A-Gator restaurant. The Deeper South Cobra club had 11 Cobras attend and the final tally as the other 2 northern groups joined us was an additional 18 Cobras plus a motor cycle & a Shelby Tiger. We even had a few who came in their SUV. It was great seeing all my old Cobra friends and I wish more would get their cars out of moth balls and join in, or if your car is not running come in your family cruiser. The only problem was that for this time of the year it was a little hotter than normal but what is normal any more. I had to leave early but so did others and I want to thank everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to join us and let’s make our gatherings more often and please feel free to drop me an email as I will answer you, and also keep me informed if you change your email address or have any other up dates. As soon as Dave Hackney sends me the link to all the pictures he took at yesterday’s event I will email out the link so you can all view those pictures also.

Thanks to Dan Wulff for inviting me to ride along with the Deep South Cobra Club cruz-in
at Nav-A-Gator's in Lake Suzy, FL. and another special thanks to Jim Milliken for allowing
me to ride with him in his Cobra from Muscle Car City Museum to Nav-A-Gator's.
Just gotta love those pipe's!! Had a great time, hope all enjoy the pix...

Default nav-a-gator cruise

Dan, I didn't realize there was a group comming up from your area. By the time we got there ( after blowing a HEATER hose and flooding the cockpit!! )
(&%$@ "push-not lock" fittings, CLAMP EM ALL!!! ) the parking area was full of Cobras so we were directed to park in the back. Went in and had lunch, & missed seeing most of the cars from your area, so thanks for the pics!! Had a 12 cars leave Waynes place and had perfect weather and a great drive till the hose incident! Thanks to Steve and Mike for stopping and helping ! Met some old friends and a few new ones, and checked out many interesting cars including the very cherry Sunbeam Tiger. All-in all, a great day, thanks to all who put this together !!
Ted

Ted,
This is the largest group to show from our area in a long time. I put together our local group the Deeper South Cobra Club and I was surprised to see such a large turnout. I had to leave early or there would have been more pictures. I knew that most where coming but I seem to always have a few who show without emailing me for a real head count. Maybe we could do OLD TOWN on JUNE 5th for their 20th ANEVERSARY SHOW? I know we normally run only during the winter months but hell I froze my butt this past winter.

Great pics CobraDan!

That straight silver Cobra in the last pic is a real beauty! Does anyone know the manufacturer?

That Sunbeam was also a ripper!

Cheers.

Steve.

Steve,

The silver Cobra in the last pic is mine. (Me and the Wifey in the pic) It is not of any mfg, I have a friend that has molds for the body and jigs for the frame. It is a true homebuilt. Jag rear, Art Morrison front. I do get alot of positive comments on the car. Thanks for yours!!

Anthony

Don,
I brought my offical photographer Dave Hackney and I told him to get a picture of the green Mustang Bullet but you didn't show.
