Reptile Roundup 2010
I thought it might be a good idea to start an "official" thread for anyone with questions. This a great event for anyone in the SE U.S., hosted by some of the best folks you could ever meet. The track event is at the old Moroso Motorsports Park in Jupiter, Fl, and in the last 12 months, rumour has it that in excess of $100 million dollars has been spent on the redo.
Hope to see some of you guys there. HOD typically runs three run groups, from novice to an open passing group for qualified drivers.
Cheers,
Richard

As far as all the info I have, it is the full course. I've run at PBIR with three or four organizations including HOD, and they have all run the full course. I wouldn't expect otherwise.
Hope to see you there,
Richard

Sign up for the Roundup looks to be very slow/light. If your on the fence or just draggin your feet, like Nike said just do it. Larry and the DSCC guys put a lot of their time into organizing these events and all we have to do is sign up and go play with our cars.

Excellent, look forward to meeting some new faces. Less than four weeks to go.... Starting to get excited now, cooler weather, and less rain, always a good thing.

All right guys, less than four weeks to go. As of this morning, we only have 21 entrants for OUR (the club) annual event. There has been a ton of preparation behind the scenes for all of us.
With these kind of numbers, who knows where this will go.
If you plan on attending, please go ahead and register, if you're not planning on going, give it some serious thought. PBIR really is a great facility, and the surrounding area has something for all of us, including some world class shopping for the money managers.
Hope to see you there,
Richard

This year's Roundup was really good. Plenty of track time. Attendance was good, and having the non track cars at the track event added a whole extra dimension. There were plenty of people dropping by to see the event, and having the shiny cars there was awesome.
The cruise out to Solomon's Castle, I heard was fantastic, weather was excellent, no rain, nice and cool, and a whole pile of snakes.
I dropped by today's show for a few hours, all I can say is WOW. The car collection inside was like going to a 50s/60s downtown area, with store fronts, signs, streets etc, etc, just mind blowing, and the cars outside were fantastic. There must have been a couple of hundred hot rods and on off builds. An aluminum FIA car showed up mid morning, and parked with us, which was quite the compliment, a really great local guy who has owned the car for 9 years.
Hopefully someone was better at taking pictures than me, and will post some.
Already looking forward to next year.
Thanks to everyone who helped put this on,
Richard
