Keith,

I have made reservations at the Holiday Inn inMcDonough. I'll probably be solo on this trip.

I can not believe the response so far! This weekend is going to be BIG! From Friday night through Sunday there will be activities.
Next week we will post the entire agenda for the whole weekend, not only here, but also on ALL COBRA TALK (and the other forums if they ever run again VAL). I'm looking forward to a great bunch of fun activities and I hope by next Month we get a big response.

Thumbs up

Alan and Maurice Weaver have been added to the list!

This is a big feather in our cap for this event. If you don't yet have a Cobra, aren't familiar with the companies, or you're still doing your research, meeting these gentlemen is an absolute MUST for you.

They own Unique Motorcars in Gadsden, Alabama and my personal experience with them indicates that they are true gentlemen who are always happy to answer any question about their cars or their company. It will truly be a pleasure to have them in attendance for this event.

Hopefully, other manufacturers can attend as well. If you have a Cobra, I urge you to contact your particular manufacturer and urge them to attend. It would be nice to have a big turnout of manufacturers at this event to show enthusiasts the full range of offerings that's available to them.

John Woerheide and his wife Catherine plan on driving down from Atlanta on Saturday, or walking if the car is still broken down, but at least it is being repaired at Southern Automotive !

Brent, can we get a special section set up in CC for the SFII. This way it will always be readily accesable and will not get lost like a regular thread.

I've received some registration checks recently. I also made some formatting changes to the list, so it's easier to count heads for lunch or dinner.

Dan, I got the plaque! It looks NICE! I know everyone's gonna be pleased with them. I can't wait to buy some matching T-shirts at the event.

Thumbs up I'm there....I think...!

Just made my hotel reservations....Ron Frohs (SPF#723) and I (SPF#770) are planning on coming down from Memphis. We'll be towing our cars, but plan on having some fun with our DSCC brethren in mid-April.

BTW...I have one of my best buddies in the ATL area who I have invited to come spend the weekend with us as a participant. Do we have to register him as my guest, or as another DSCC member. We'll do what we need to do, but I know he'd like a T-shirt, and so on.

Looking forward to meeting you guys....and maybe having a beer, or two...okay, three.....oh. alright, four......five (?).....more? Okay, whatever it takes.....

NO RAIN....NO RAIN....NO RAIN.....NO RAIN!

Your friend would have to join the DSCC to enjoy the BB-Q and open house. But joining the club is free, so that's good.

T-shirts will have to be purchased by everyone separately (the registration fee includes one dash plaque, but not the shirt).

I will add your name and Ron's name to the list. I look forward to meeting the two of you!

Keith

EDIT:
With these additions, SPF surpasses FFR by just one car! Unique enjoys a nice lead with 15 cars. We now have 48 cars!!! While that is a fantastic turnout, you must remember we have 227 members, more than 200 of which have Cobras or Shelby's!

So start calling your friends and twisting some arms! We want all the attendance we can possibly get!

Smile YO...Keith....!

Sorry, Dude...I failed to put in my note that we'll plan on 3 dinners, as well. 2 for my party and one for Ron. I'll include advance payment on my check that I'll send this week.

Send me your address offline..... fvrice@fedex.com, or frice1@midsouth.rr.com, so I can send the registration check.

Look for me...I'll be the one in the blue and white striped loud car....!

I got three more checks in the mail last night and one of them was from redunique (Joel Lackey), who had not been previously listed.

So Unique strengthens its lead and brings our new total to FORTY-NINE CARS!!!!

This is really gonna be awesome.

Talking

I find it quite humorous that with all that attendance and all those cars there are no SAI cars listed.

Out of the 227 DSCC members, we only have one series 4000 and only three original 289 cars. If we can get any of those to come, that would be great, but there just aren't a whole lot of them in our club. Regardless, the event is open to ALL makes entirely.

I know what you trying to say. Please don't go there (let's play nice ).

Hey cool... I made a sticky note!

This will keep the list at the top of the page and will still allow you guys to post replies (which the announcement didn't allow).

Just sent out my check.
I will be towing FFR1997K and riding with Jim Pomroy and Tom Jones.
Bring the FFR total up one additional digit!
