Thumbs up

I didn't have Tom Jones listed previously, so I've added his name to the list. Will Tom bring his FFR also? If so, it will bring the total to 51 cars! As it is, you're the 50th car!

Keith,
No, Tom will not have his FFR finished in time.
He will be riding up as a member and attending the meeting.

You will receive my check in the mail in a day or two.

Guys!

Don't forget:

$10 if postmarked on or before March 13th (that's next Wednesday).
$15 if postmarked on or after March 14th
$20 if paid at the event (ouch)

The sooner the better!

Just completed a hotel reservation and confirmed Wendy to attend, so my attendee list will be two. I'll be sending a check tomorrow.

Yesterday, out of the clear blue sky, I recieved a registration check from a non-DSCC member locating near Augusta, GA. After a short phone call, David is now our newest member (Dan & Ruble - I'll email you with his info). Richard Turlington deserves credit for finding this guy. David and his wife will drive their FFR to the gathering, which narrows the gap between FFR and Unique and brings our grand total to 51 cars!

Eric/Ruble/Jason - Thanks guys, I'll look forward to getting the checks.

I called the hotel this morning and discovered that our reserved block was down to only one room!!!

I quickly added 10 more rooms. And she said there were more available after those were full.

I inquired about the size of their parking lot and apparently it's pretty big. She said they handle car trailers all the time.

Smile Lookin' Forward to this get together....!

Guys....I am SO looking forward to this.... You can't imagine what's going on in my life just now, and I really need a break like this to take my mind off things. I had dinner with Dennis Olthoff last week and we discussed his presentation on Sunday, and it should be both informative and entertaining, as well.

Like I said....I am SO looking forward to this.

As Ol' Willie sang, "On the road again....I just can't wait to get on the road again....the life I love is making music with my friends...I just can't wait to get on the road again!"

Alright now....all together....ready? One....two......THREE...

NO RAIN!

Default TRAILER PARKING

TRAILER PARKING is available at Southern Automotive. They are hiring around the clock security (actual off duty Police) to watch over cars and trailers. You can go and register when you arrive on Friday (or Saturday) and drop your trailer and unload your car. Thatway, you are all set for Saturday morning with no last minute hasles!

What Jerry said is absolutely correct!

Also, some have asked me... no, the hotel does not have covered parking, so please throw your water-repellant car cover in the trunk before you leave home. But hey, it ain't gonna rain anyway, right?

Talking Tomorrow $5 Bucks More

Keith,
Why are you trying to get extra money off the late comers? Is this the money you use for your parties in Atlanta? I will be going up to Ohio in June for the DVSFII, I could present a check to DV for Team Jenny from the Deep South Cobra Club. Well, actually it would be from the late comers club.

I wonder if we can get people to send those extra funds in one dollar bills?

Did somebody say... Cheetah?

Keith,
You don't have a Cobra yet and your thinking of a Cheetah. Actually Elegant Motors made a Cheetah, and we could teach Bill Parham how to put Chevies together. Big Block Chevies.

Talking Sorry

As Vice President of our Club, I will not be able to let you spend the Clubs monies on any type Cheetah. I do think we should get Bill on other engines, like the new 2003 Viper V10 with 500Hp stock.
