4 PM is a good time to arrive in Canton for the cruise. It gets very crowded very quickly and people have learned to show up early.

I hate to say it, but I won't be able to drive the Cobra there this weekend. I can't get my tag and title worked out until next week. This is probably a good thing since I really don't have nearly enough shake-down miles at the moment anyway. I guess Elizabeth and I will be in the Honda again (ugh).

But I'll be sure to bring some pictures, at least.

What time will you guys get to Fuddruckers? If ToyCollector's forecast is wrong I will be hunting in the morning and then heading up to Fuddruckers for lunch. Where is Fuddruckers in relation to the Holcomb Bridge Rd./Hwy 9 intersection?

Sfcj,

Fuddruckers is at the Andretti Speed lab, which can be reached by going north on Hwy 9 from either Holcomb Bridge Rd or even Mansell. It is just north of Mansell at the corner of Houze Rd and Hwy 9. It will be on the west lane side of Hwy 9.

Update on my attendance. I'm playing fair weather fan this weekend. After watching the races in the rain last Sunday I'm not real hot on the idea of a car show in the rain. I think Fudruckers is a great idea though. I'm planning on lunch at the very least. I hope like hell it is clear tomorrow!

Cold front is already on western side of Alabama--let's hop it either passes overnight or dies out--both strong possiblities. Worst is it hangs over here--then we have last weekend deja vu.

And that is only 50% or less odds. Cross those fingers.

Chill,
Works for me. I'll be in an old 2 door green exploder. If it is dry(it's pouring outside my house right now!) I might meet up with everyone at the mall and follow them over.

Keith, did you make it over from SC? Fuddruckers had a special event, so several of us went down the steet to a BBQ place. I just looked at weather.com... there's thunderstorms all the way back to AL...perhaps next month we'll do it again. [PS, you missed a good time...]

Hey SF. When we left you after lunch at Dreamland, John and I went over to Chuck and Sarah's (R&B's) house to look at their ERA project. They are way too ambitious for me!! Too bad we missed the others but I enjoyed meeting you and R&B - (which I now know stands for Rockie and Bullwinkle!) - a good time. Next time we will do it with some Cobras....

SFCJ We were the group standing by the red GMC and black Honda del Sol... were you in the red dually? We wondered if that was another confused DSCC member, but when we got ready to give up and go to lunch you were gone.... sorry dude.

I showed up @12:30 to a closed off Fudruckers! I was meeting another friend there so we went to the fudruckers at the mall around to corner to eat. Sorry I missed you guys. Hope no one got stuck in any rain. We'll have to try again real soon.

Chill, that was me in the dually. I had not seen the posts by you and cecoen re: meeting at Fuddruckers. I thought I was the only one going straight to the restaurant, I was expecting to see a group coming in from Perimeter mall.
The next lunch will have to be alittle better coordinated. On the bright side, I had lunch at the Hickory House, my favorite restaurant.

Guys, this is a long story on my end. I called Keith at about 11:30 planning to meet you guys for lunch. He said he was at Fuddruckers and had left since no one was there and the place was closed for a private function. I went and met JW in Canton at a Military vehicle event , and then Keith and Elizabeth showed up. Went to my place with JW in tow and then the phone rang with Dave Crace and BigEasy asking me if I was headed up to the Po boys meet. I said yes. After I hung up, JW and I bumbed around a bit more then the skies opened up. Long story short, I made it up to Canton around 6ish, had dinner, and met up with David Crace and his Cobra around 7 or so. I can keep going on about the day--but am sorry some of you didn't hook up, and happy others ended up making the best of it. Too bad for the weather and the fact that Fuddruckers was closed. I recommend we keep a list of names, CC handles, and numbers for the next event.

...Shall we try again in October? The Po Boys show is monthly, right?

...I agree; cell and home numbers would be helpful to avoid more confusion.

I would like to invite everyone to join the CODRA club!

Cobra Owners Drought Relief Alliance

Here's how it works... we find a drought-striken area in need of rain. We plan a Cobra gathering there. Then we sit back and let mother nature do the rest.

Man, what a day. I stayed at Perimeter Mall until about 10:45 then headed over to Fudruckers. I was already unhappy about the rain when I walked up to the door and saw that they were closed for the WHOLE DAY! Geez... At this point, I was fit to be tied, so I threw up my hands and headed back to Canton to eat something. I'm really sorry I didn't hook up with some of you guys. Next month, I'll make sure to include some phone numbers (mine, at least) in the thread.

October is the last month for the Po Boys cruise-in this year. I need to check my schedule, but at the moment, I plan to bring the Cobra next month. Eventually, we're gonna get a sunny day. (sigh)

Well ... what can I say, the weather in San Francisco has been GORGEOUS for the past two weeks. The called it hot, and it was in the mid-70s and sunny every day. I'm stuck in Denver due to ATC ground holds and now won't get home until Saturday afternoon. Man, do I miss my bed ... and wife!

Sorry it sounds like the meeting didn't go so well. I should be up for October and plan to drive as much of the fall season as possible.
