Acworth, GA get together Oct-12
Hello all,
Unfortunately I will be unable to make the gathering on the 19th in Canton as I will be out of town. However there is a cruise night in downtown Acworth on Saturday the 12th. It is sponsored by the city and a local car club (CC riders). They had one in the spring with a tremendous turnout, with food, DJ, and raffle. The stores are also open for shopping if you want to bring along your significant other, some antique and gift shops. If anyone is interested the cruise in is from 4-10pm on Main Street in downtown Acworth. Contact information number listed in the paper is 770-428-6775 or 770-974-3043.
I plan on showing up around 4:30 - 5pm. Hope to see some other cobras as well.
Greg.

GB, if I take 92 all the way west from Roswell, does that run me into Main St in Acworth? Said to say, I am rarely out that way.

Toy Collector,
Yes, if you take 92 it will run into main street. You will have to take an exit off 92 as 92 will overpass main street. If it helps, Old 41 turns into mainstreet in both Kennesaw and Acworth if you follow it north from 41.

Sorry Can't make this one. Have to got to San Fran for a convention. At least I'll get some good Chinese food!

I would love to go and drool on some Cobras this weekend with you guys but I have to go and try and serve the step kids "other" dad in SC. You know, the you should have paid your child support papers. The bum got served earlier this week but he told the sherif that came to the door that he wasn't home and no longer lived there! The nerve huh. The stinking sherif didn't even ask for id or anything he just believed the bum. Anyway, sorry to ramble, I get a little wound up about the whole thing. I can't make it.

I think I can make it. Bit out of the way for me, but what the heck?
Will it really run until 10:00? That's a long one. Whoever gets there first, try to designate a snake pit.

Tony,
I am unsure if it will run until 10 pm as it gets dark a lot earlier than during the spring event. Should be a good turnout though. Good idea, who ever gets their first try and save a few spots for a snake pit.

Missed ya TC. Three of us showed. We had my Unique, an ERA and FFR in attendance. No SPFs though. It was a beautiful day. No awards, just the usual fun watching the hundreds of "man, I bet driving that is awesome!) drop by.
Some guy came by and asked about the Cobra driver who wiped out on HW 5 on the way home from the last Canton cruise-in. Didn't know how the driver faired as the was gone by the time this guy drove by. Said the guy was in a hurry to get home because of impending showers. Oh well, massive HP, no weight, wet roads, curve ahead, yikes!
