I can get free on the weekend of the 23rd. 5 Seasons sounds interesting, especially if the weather is nice.
Charlie, that passenger seat still available?

Either Saturday works for me. Keep us posted. I'll need directions from 285 and Roswell Rd.

I will be up on the Tulula River this weekend. It is the last run of the year so I must go test my paddling skills befor I have to wait for next year. I can do it on the 23rd. Is this place in the Prado. I know I have missed alot, but I have been gone on weekends. I hope the 23rd works out for most people because I miss you guys.

Jeff Neely,
Glad to see you on the board. Where you been? Fatherhood keeping you busy? Still working on that monster 427 upgrade? What about the Z-Car? Let's go racing!

All of the above, plus working on weekends so the wife can finish grad school. The z-car is in the garage on jackstands and that is about as far as it has gotten. As far as my new motor all I have to say is Genesis. It has been a year since down payment and no block.

Sounds like the 23rd is the most convenient day for everyone. Here is the address for the five seasons:
Five Seasons Brewing
5600 Roswell Rd NE
Atlanta, GA 30342
(404) 255-5911
Its in the same place as the old Fridays behind Frankies in the Prado strip center. About 12:30 or 1:00 pm ok with everyone?

Five Seasons at 12:30-ish to 1:00-ish sounds fine with me. That location is pretty easy to find. Anyone who doesn't have my cell number should email me and I'll send it. Those of us who plan to attend could exchange numbers in case of any problems. It's been a problem in the past.
Now, let's just keep that sun shining!

Lateapex,
I have no idea who is running this weekend at Road Atlanta. I tried my friend a couple of times this week but he hasen't gotten back with me yet. I looked at R. A. web wite but couldn't find out who is running. As far as I know it is just some sort of track day where you can sign up and run on the track at speed for a few hours. I'm sure there is more to it than just sign and drive but I think it is pretty simple according to my friend. At the last track day he signed up to run on the morning of. So you might want to call R.A. to find out what's going on. Sorry I don't know more. If the weather continues to look wet my friend will be running with out me! Last time I went to R.A. it rained all day almost and we didn't get to meet up with anybody there.
So looks like I'll(and probably Chip) will see y'all on the 23rd.

23rd
I'm in for the 23rd. Sounds like a good crowd!!
Tony R.;
Bill & Co. were hard at work on your car, prognosis looked good. They were making good progress. You might be saved in time!!!
How'd you get that big scratch down the right side???
(just kidding...)
BTW... I was down there ordering a 396Windsor Stroker for my Unique FIA car.
(Sorry Randy...should I have gotten you one while I was there?)

Chill,
When you used the word "scratch" in the same paragraph as "your car", I exerienced 0.4 seconds of neurological trauma until I got to the "just kidding". I'm sure they'll get it right. I took a moderate beating from Bill (I certainly deserved it) for a few bad decisions I made regarding the previous repair effort at a "brand X" mechanic shop. It's no fun walking into my garage and seeing a blank spot where my baby usually sleeps.
Thanks for the report.

I talked to Susan Friday after you left - seems Bill is going to practice building the first one (yours) to make sure he knows how to do the second one (mine)
My pallet kit is faster than yours

Tony,
Sorry for the trauma... couldn't resist. Bill told me what you'd been through, I think just so I wouldn 't do the same thing. (It's good that he thinks of all his engines as his children since most of us still need a little parental intervention . Between Mama Jean at Unique and Papa Bill at Southern, someone is always looking out for us!)
Randy,
We keep this up, Keith will send us to our rooms without supper!
(oh, and mine's faster )
