Lightbulb Bragging Rights - Mine's Bigger than Yours

Fellow Deep South guys I just got off the phone Dynolab, Inc. and dyno shop in Marietta.
I was thinking about a fun event for the spring (after I get my car finished) and thought about renting a dyno shop one Sat. Dynolab does car clubs on Sat and will give us a break if we have a large enough group. Minimum of 10 - max of about 30 allowing twenty minutes per car for 3 pulls. Cost would be about $50 for each car. We would each get a glossy color photo of our car on the dyno and the result sheet. Arthur was pretty excited about having a shop full of Cobras instead of rice burners and we may be able to get a little better deal. Let me know and we can discuss it in detail.

Sounds like fun but we will need Bill Parham and some of his boys there in case any of us need a minor adjustment

Thumbs up Sounds like fun!

That would be one heck of a sight...and sound!

Alex has a good idea, let's invite Bill to attend to tweak and tune his creations too!

That sounds like a real blast! We'll need to invite Bill and Lewis both. Count me in.

I'm now an offical member of the DSCC, and as such I want you guys to let me do a few pulls in the F350. I want to show you guys a thing or two about torque! I'll bring the programmer and do a "before and after pull".

Jim

Bring it on - you, Chill and T.C. can have a truck pulloff

If I get a good group together we could really have some fun with this.

Randy, I finally installed my winch, so I could pull both of 'em at the same time!

Guys, I'm there, provided I'm waived from any damage arising from breakage of said dyno, or bending of needle readout, etc. . Never mind we may have a coolant shower from watching. SFCJ, a nice diesel cloud wafting out of the dyno bay would be cool too. Where is that number for Gale Banks again?

We could then have winch tug of war--I have just the thing!!

Randy,

I share your aggrivation regarding listed membership vs. active membership. You realize we have well over 300 members in the Southeast, right? But heck, that's a topic for a whole separate thread...

I'm very interested in knowing what I can get out of the back wheels. I won't be one of those who conveniently "gets sick" on the date of the pull. Just don't schedule it around April 4th. That's my wife's due date... and she can't travel much in March for obvious reasons... hmm... I hate to suggest as late as May... oh well, I'll figure it out after you pick a date.

Keith

The date can be whenever the most can participate as long as my car is finished and properly broken in .

May would probably be good, I should be ready and you will be sleep deprived to the point of submission.

T.C. should have his throttle working.

Alex will have figured out how to push the pedal to the firewall.

Tony's motor will be really loose since he drives about 1000 miles a week.

Chill will be swapping his 16's for 15's and looking to get even with me.

Scott will be watching unless he gets moving.

Randy

Default May's good

Oh, yeah, I guess it would be fun to do that with the Cobras... I was kinda was looking forward to doing the winch thing, but I guess I can use it to pull what's left of Randy's car off the dyno.

Hey Alex,
I'm sure we can get a volunteer to run your car for you if you are out of town. We'll give you a, I mean your, dyno sheet when you get back... really...

If you can get it on the rig, chain it down and pay for the damage you can bring whatever you have.
