December 29 Lunch Photos
Bright sun and 60 degree temperatures lured a few snakes out this Sunday for lunch at 5 Seasons in Roswell. The folks at 5 Seasons were very hospitable and we were met with reserved parking in front of the restaurant. (Keith, note clear sky and 60 degree temps.. )
Cobras in attendance were: (clockwise from top center red/white) Alex Donghi-SPF, Big Easy-EM (Charlie and son, Charlie), hcollado-EM (Hector), Toy Collector-GT350 (Mike), GB-FFR (Greg), Tony Radford-Unique.
TC brought a future Cobra owner (aren't we all once we've come to a meeting??) and a few other members were also there, GeorgiaSnake (I think his name is Randall... Randolph...or something like that ), Southernfriedcj, and the author (chill & son John). If I missed anyone, sorry.
Another good time.

Great to meet you guys, enjoyed the lunch.
I don't know how good everyone else is with names, but next time I'm going to bring some stick on name tags.

S.F.
The strange looking dude is "chill" the rest of us are more difficult to remember and name tags would be helpful.

Chill,
Thanks for the post of the pic. We all know GeorgiaSnake wouldn't be organized enough to bring a camera ...and if he did, it would be out of film.
I think we should all make a "Parts Wanted" sign for him to bring to the next gathering:
Parts Wanted to finalize Cobra assembly: (4) Space Saver Spare Tires/Rims, Duct Tape, Wagner Power Roller, Superglue.

All,
Had a great time meeting and talking with you all. It's fun to be associated with such a great group of individuals. Hope to get together again shortly. Sorry I had to run out early.

Guys;
Enjoyed the day as well, and meeting some new handles, or at least putting names with faces again. I actually knew by name 3/4 of the group, so I guess that means I've made it to one of these impromptu meets more than once. Looking forward to the next one.
How much money did I cost you this time Hector? Is the 14" steering wheel now a must-have item? It does allow for more knee room, especially on the clutch side. If I put on any more weight over these holidays, I won't be able to get my fat butt in that seat----New Years resolution, right.....

Kep, that was good. I wonder what Bill and Susan have in the plans for this coming Cobra gathering?

Alex, sorry I can't answer the question even though my pal who told me everything had 5 DIET COKES. Had it been a car that approached me, it would have been purchased.
Ohhh Alex, don't bother GeorgiaSnake while he is looking for spare tires. He's busy right now.

A few quick notes for the SAWB and curious.
I have located enough silver duct tape to cover the body seams and place two stripes the full lenght of the car I think it will contrast great with the black gelcoat finish.
The wheel tire combination is done I have located four matching narrow profile wheels and tires. The guy at the junk yard called them Bonneville Salt Flat tires, you guys call them space saver spares. I prefer the junk yard guy's description.
Hector you can save some big bucks on your streering wheel - just cut the bottom half off and presto you have an abundance of thigh clearance.
T.C. I'll have you know I had my Digital camera but couldn't get the cover off to install the film. I will fix that problem today, those dremel tools are great for precise cutting
I'm sending my super glue to chill so he can fix that crack in his backside
Alex I don't remember the car website but based on the way you surveyed the parking lot you may prefer peachescam.com
Hope everyone has a prosperous new year and I get my car on the road.
