Default Atlanta Jan 18th lunch

Hey guys
I think I mentioned that 680/1340 radio was going to do a live show from 5 Seasons. Its a cooking and lifestyle show. I guess they think cobra ownership may be an aberant life style :LOL Well they didn't give alot of notice. its this sat. Trouble is it may be sunny but it will probably be cold. Originally they mentioned a February party so maybe we should wait till then. If its sunny Ill probably show up. Last Sundays ride was cold but exilerating (need a smilie face with ear muffs )

Default Weather for Sat.

Alex;

The weather report for this Saturday does not look promising at all---high of 33 degrees. I don't about you, but that translates into about -10 degrees at 80MPH down 400 or I-85.

Can't we do in February?

Update
This is not an either or.... They will also have a show in February but I dont have the date yet. I talked to the restaurant owner, Dennis, yesterday and told him we would like more notice which he would get for us. Anybody who wants to go this sat is sure welcome ill probably be there (how do you get the top up on one of these things???? ) Alittle extra notice would help guys like Keith come from out of town.
The location is in the Prado strip mall were Frankies is on Roswell road just inside 285.
They start the festivities around noon.
So if anyone shows up we'll have fun and a nice lunch but we will reserve the feb deal for a bigger party Weather permitting

How about a few more specifics on directions? I live on the south side and will be taking I285 to Roswell Rd. I know I should go south inside I285 but how far is it from there? And which side of the road is it on? From What I remember traffic is not the best in that area.

Don't ask me, mine has a pile of dust on it. I probably should give it a whirl one of these days

Tim,
Take I-285 to roswell road and head south. The shopping center is a strip mall on the right (west) side of the street about a half block south of I-285. After you enter the lot continue to the rear portion of the parking lot and you will see 5 seasons on your right. Hope this helps.

Greg

Sorry I can't make it this weekend guys. I'm flying to TX on Friday to spend the weekend with my brother before he's scheduled to deploy to Turkey/Iraq, and then have work in Austin for the rest of the week. Have a great time!

Thanks. Jer just called me and said we may have to cancel this weekend. His armor battalion has been in a week-long joint force Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT) training that they aburptly cut short today on prep for mobility orders. Should know something later today or tomorrow (performance test vs. actual). If he ships, I'll post his info to send cigars, etc. to for him and his troops.

I'm watching the History channel right now. They have the whole evening devoted to Iraq and Saddam. Fascinating stuff.

Jason, let us know what we can do, maybe a DSCC Care package.

Alex, I will try to make it Saturday, it's not like I'll be busy building anything!!!! So what if it's a little cold. (easily said from the warm cab of the GMC!)

Jason, best to your brother.

Damn guys, a little notice would be nice. I can't get Chip's Unique put back together by then! I'm doing a little tinkering on his car while he is up in Ohio taking care of his mom. He sent me an email telling me of highs in the teens there when I complained of cold weather here! I'm waiting on some brake parts for his car to get here before it is back on the road. Other wise cold weather or not, I'm going! Since I have use of a borrowed Cobra I'm not missing a single event 'cause of a little cold weather!
