I would love to be with you guy's on the 15th, but I will be in Miami going through upgrade training(Captian School). I will be going 500 miles an hour with one engine on fire, both generators out, on emergency power, with a heart attack victim on board. What do you do? Wish I was in my Cobra with a cold beer in my hands at Chills place! Sorry maby next month. Have fun.

Sorry you can't make it, Jeff, we'll drink one for you.
Jason: I sent you directions.
Tony: The 8th is the day!! Did you get directions?
Alex: what are we ging to do about those mountains in Sanctuary??? anyone have a bobcat we can scrape them up with??

Yep, definitely ready for the car to arrive!!

If the weather is like today on the 15th, we should be able to get a good collection of Cobras in the cul-de-sac and shake up the neighbors! I also have a tall hill next to the house to take an aerial shot of all the cars in the sac too.

...4 days and counting...

Randy, I'll take you up on the Alpharetta meeting place.

Chill, are you sure you're ready for this? Remember what happened at Woodstock!

If you are old enough to remember Woodstock, you probably don't!

I'll e-mail you some directions.

Chill,

I can only imagine how hard it must be to concentrate at work...talk about wishing time away!
For those of us who have yet to receive our cars...you'd better be handing out masks to catch the slobber!

By my calculations...you only have 345,600 seconds to go!

And yes, please include me in the "slobber crew"...I'll need directions.

Tim

BTW: are you certain we can't bring something?

Chill, you may need to move this event to the Omni. Or at least a shuttle from the nearest parking deck.

Keith,

Since it's bothering you so much...

I hereby volunteer to come over and drive it for you!

Hummm, since it WOULD be alot of driving in one day,...I think I should pick it up on Wednesday,...to allow for any emergencies along the way.

Tim

Thumbs up

Ok, forget all the directions to the old house, I'm moving to a bigger house.... TC, your gate house still available?

Hey, The turnout sounds great, hope the weather holds. It will be interesting to see a bunch of Cobras rolling through the neighborhood... and all I have planned for weekends between now and May(?) is playing with the car in the garage... may as well have a few extra hands (even if they are only holding beers )

Pizza is probably the easiest thing to have if that's ok with all. I will order pizza and have some soft drinks and beer, but just in case, if you want to bring something, bring what you think you will drink and that will help out.

Closer to the 15th, we can get a better feel for the weather and turnout and go from there.

Chill
You picking it up or is Bill delivering it for you. Maybe some of us should go down there for that event. I need to order a trailer from Bill anyway.

We were able to convince Maurice to deliver both cars in his 2-car trailer this Saturday.

I wanted to get over to see the last part of the assembly, but I FedEx'd my digital camera instead! Next best thing to being there! I hope they took a few good ones!

Thanks for the offers!!

Chill and GeorgiaSnake,

Carrerajon and I are ready, willing, and able to help this weekend if you need it. Actually, WE INSIST!!!

I picked up my Hemi block today and delivered it to the Rod guys. I don't think they have installed a motor "that large" before, and I am not talking cubic inches or horsepower. The motor dwarfed the rod. I said, "fellas, it's been done before." They were still shaking their heads when I left.

BTW, a certain Rocket is in the showroom at SAE.

What's the delivery time on the 8th? I may try to swing by since the wife has to do some "real" work.

TC - Sounds amazing!!!

TC, CJ and Jason - Alan and Maurice are going to deliver Chills car first and I will meet them at his house, help unload, then they will follow me to my house and unload mine. We don't know the time yet but Alan said he will let us know.
This is pretty cool - it's finally happening
I might just wire it up and drive it in gelcoat

Randy

Randy, this could be like the beauty of witnessing childbirth. I'd like to buy a ticket.

A blank signed check will get you front row seats . If you are out and about with nothing to do come on by. I can send you my cell phone # if you want.
It should be pretty cool - twins being delivered on a frosty Sat.

Maybe I could pull the ole "going to the store for bread" routine and swing by too? I need to replace all the parts that rattled off my car over the last year, and what better place than your culdesac whilst you guys are getting hammered in the garage.
