I'm trying to get together with some folks in my area (SC) as well. I'm holding out for a nice Saturday, although I'm beginning to question the forecasters (it sure is cool today). I'm too busy Sunday to plan anything more than a short pass through town (which is still fun) but I have all day Saturday to drive and eat and drive.
I'm hoping to get together with a Viper owner in Columbia tomorrow and may some of the local Cobra owners as well. You guys listening? You know who you are.
Where's Dacula? Is that near Augusta? I don't mind driving to Augusta if you're open for Saturday.
Keith

Keith, Augusta is a bit of a haul for me (remember I'm running a small block so it would take all day for the round trip). Dacula is off I 85 on the Northeast side heading to Greenville, SC. Not a terrible haul, but certainly deserving of REALLY nice weather (75 degrees and no humidity).

I feel for ya Chaplin. I installed a boiler at Demag Deleval in Trenton, NJ several years back. It was February if memory serves. Your winters can be quite miserable. Also did some work in Wisconsin just long enough to figure out I would never wanna live there. Cold weather sucks.
Of course, we'll be crying in a few months when it's 102 and 98% humidity.

A bud and I went sporting clay shooting this am. We left early and got back around 3pm 59 degrees out.... Well we had to take the car out for a little excercise didn't we. Sorry about that Jersey weather. I have lots of buds in Westchester (lived there 20yrs) and they always start hating me alittle this time of year. But we all getting together in April in Costa Rica so maybe things will thaw by the time they get back

I hear we hit 70 today. I took the little red car out and blew out the pipes. What an incredible day for cruising. It was so great not having to wear gloves a coat and hat. I had forgotten what it was like. Spent part of the afternoon putting a thorough cleaning on that baby.
Yep, good day!

Mid 60s, clear skys and bright sun in Hickory, NC today.
Outfitted with driving shoes, a turtle neck sweater, light jacket and Levis, I uncovered ERA 409, disconnected the battery tender and headed up winding 321 to Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge. The Cobra and I were in our element.
Bunches of street rodders, bikers, classic car owners and various convertible types had the same idea. It was a great drive, particularly after getting snowed in week before last. Actually got too warm and took off the jacket. Spring is not far off.

Spent this beautiful day moving things out of the garage - getting ready for the arrival of one of my life long dreams. I even assembled my new jack stands

You guys are spoiled. We are finally going to get above freezing and the forecast is freezing rain and snow flurries. Enjoy the driving. We are mostly limited to driving in our dreams.
