Default New Wannabe Owner

Let me take a minute to introduce myself, My name is Kevin Kintner, I am 21 years old, and yes I know I am young. I currently own 4 late model Mustangs and I am thinking of selling 2 of them to help fund the dream of owning a Cobra. I have done a lot of searching on the net and in magazines for the last few years and also lurking on the message boards. I know I need to vist some factories but based on what I have seen Unique is my top choice. I have considered FFR but, I believe for me to be happy with the car I will spend just as much as if I go with an Unique. I am still undecided on what I want to build exactly weather it be a 289 FIA or a 427. I was just hoping someone could give me some comments on there experiences. I would love to hear pros and cons. What you would do differently the next time. Also if anyone is in the Charlotte, NC area and wouldn't mind showing me their car I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin Kintner

Welcome Kevin. I'm not an owner yet either, but I am on the ERA waiting list. This forum has been absolutely essential to making an informed decision. I read it several times a day. Use the search feature and you can find out anything you want to know. If you don't find an answer, just ask and someone is always willing to offer advidse. Good Luck.

stanger,

Hey, I saw your post on www.UniqueCobra.com last week (I think it was last week). I live in Camden, SC which is roughly 2 hours from you. I'd be happy to drive the Cobra up sometime and have you take a better look at it. It's a Unique 427 S/C with a stroked 427 side-oiler and dual quads. You can also call me if you wish and I'll be happy to tell you all about my experiences with researching the market and building the Unique (email me and I'll send you my cell and phone numbers). This website is absolutely priceless when it comes to research. Just mess around with the "search" function a bit and you'll soon be overwhelmed with information.

Keith
