Silver Springs Annual Meeting
We have only 20 days left to get our money in for our 3rd annual meeting. We need you there for the entire weekend. At Saturdays banquet we will have an election of officers for the following year (President, Vice President, and Secretary- Treasurer.) I have met a lot of our members at our 1st and 2nd annual meeting and at both Double Venom Spring Flings. Camaraderie is the best part of any of these gatherings; get your names on our list of attendees, I would like to meet every member on our membership list. Please respond to this post with your name if you will be attending. All information can be found at my first post, which has been up dated as needed.
http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...719#post188719
I have signed up 10 people locally who are joining us on Saturday just to see Silver Springs Park. If you have friends who would like to see Silver Springs at these prices please contact me.
Thanks in advance Dan

Dan -
I will be attending!
DSCC Members -
How come there has not been more response to this note? Come on folks, time is growing short. This is, afterall, our annual meeting - so I would hope that all members are trying to fit it in.
For the FL guys, especially, this is not that big a trip - rather an opportunity to take a jaunt in your great car and then show it off to the most appreciative possible audience. Not to mention the pleasure of being with your friends and also being able to see the attractions at Silver Springs.
As one final inducement, so long as the fates are kind, I will be bringing my FFR Daytona Coupe replica - so this is the opportunity for those who have expressed an interest in the Coupe to see it first hand.
So come on folks, either we have a club or we don't! Please make the effort to fit the short trip in and notify Dan immediately (as in right now, not "the next time I get a chance").
Hope to see many of your at the reunion!!!!!
Jim O'Brien (aka JVOB)
PS - As a veteran of the US Army, I would hope that all - whatever their feelings about the need for the current war - will remember to honor those brave individuals who are answering their country's call by putting their lives on the line. I offer my prayers for a quick end to this conflict and hope that the sacrifice of our best is kept to the minimum. Amen.

Jim,
I also met a lot of people at my house last August and then again in Lutz, Fl. Jim buddy, you mean Mike is going to get that coupe done in time for our annual meeting in May? I want to see that COUPE. Remember if your health keeps you from breaking in that COUPE I again volunteer to help. Thanks Jim.

Mike1,
26 people counting you and me. With over 330 members and most of them in Florida I think this is really bad. With only 29 days left for the dead line of April 25 our members have to send in their money now.

Tony you have mail.
Ed we have plenty of time to still make this work. We have to get together once a year to elect our officers for the following year and make plans for the future of our club. I have attended both our first and second annual meetings. At the first one there was 10 Cobras and 28 people, at the second we had about 60 Cobras and about 100 people attend. This one should be double our last meeting. Everyone waited to the last minute to sign on for our second meeting but it makes it impossible to have everthing planned if you have no idea of how many are going to attend. Guys please lets make this work.

Dan,
A friend of mine (I know, it's hard to believe... ) would like to know if there's a place close to Silver Springs where he can dock his motor home?
BTW, I'll be e-mailing his info to you for inclusion into the DSCC.

Lopezes,
Thanks for letting me know Manny. Armondo, as soon as I hear from Ruble I will put your tickets in the mail. The party would not be the same without Lopezes. I just heard from Lou Zayas with his blown Big Block Chevy engined Cobra, he wants to join us. I also have a large box of gifts from Enzo and Paula of Finnish Line. Very generous people.
Dan
P.S. Ruble, Lou Zayas runs a transmission shop out of Orlando.
