DVSF Raffle tickets
My chances of winning are now phenomenal!!!
However, on second thought, it would be a better idea to spread out the chance to win that beautiful Kirkham 289 at DVSF III.
On behalf of the DSCC I told Computerworks I would step up and lead the charge for our allottment of 10 DVSF raffle tickets for the DSCC. Tickets are $50 each for a chance to win a Kirkham.
Sell them within your club, at swap meets or cruise nights, at work, at Speed Shops... wherever you think someone would have interest. We need to act fast and get these tickets out there!
Link to raffle flyer is:
Remember ... you do not have to be at DVSF to win.
If no one replies..... "I'm a gonna win that pup!"

Mike,
I will be buying my ticket locally when I'm at the Fling. As I will be leaving early Sunday morning I will not know about my win until I return to Florida on Monday, I could post my cell number so you can call me during my travels, and why would you want 2 Kirkhams are you adding on more garage space?

Thanks to all for their committment to this worthy cause. I have allocated your tickets for now, and I also have some offline commitments. If we continue to get this type of response, I will not limit it to 10.
Computerworks will be sending me the initial 10 tickets. It will include a cover letter on how to pay (I assume so that you have receipt of donating to a charitable cause as well). I will then be in charge of collecting checks and raffle stubs, and getting you your tickets, etc.
3 tickets left if anyone else is interested.

TC;
It's a great cause---I'll take 2 tickets---this might be the only way to potentially keep pace with you on the alum body!!!
Let me know how to get you the funds--I can always just stop by the "shop" ---I need to check out your projects anyway.

Ooppps---I just noticed that Carrara John took 2, so I assume you only have 1 available??
I'm in for that one, at least, or I'll just go to the source, if it's not too late.

Charlie,
thanks bud for revitalizing this thread. In hindsight I should have gone to Silver Springs with a Pan and my raffle tickets
I actually have (in myhand) more than expected because Computerworks figured I was a better charity worker than I think I am . I will send you all emails on how we will process these. I want to ensure you get to make sure Uncle SAM shares in this worthy cause---'cause I'm looking out for your '03 tax return
I will hopefully post and email all details tomorrow. You guys are great!!!

GREAT! I'm feeling lucky, so just let me know how/when to connect with 'ya.
If it ever stops raining around here, maybe we could actually meet for breakfast/lunch one Sat/Sun.
