TC-

Both Jon and Kerry quilified at 1:23.9-- very fast for I class. The competition for the last few races has been like spec Miata--cast of thousands and no quarter given!

Johan- that rubber is a good idea, sort of like a "catch can" for when you are having a really good drive...

Johan,
I'll check and see if I can get a few of the South African "Pro's" to the Willis races.

I'll be hoping they let me drive that 500 hp+ race prepped Cobra they had at Gainesville.
I think with some more practice, I can get within a second of Tony Martin.

I'll be giving you a call after the holidays.
Happy Holidays.

Ed

Dave-

Make sure you memorize each turn and when you get to Roebling do everything exactly the same--

That would really make the carousel interesting....
Oh boy, yippie, the start of a whole new year of turning money into noise (not sure who said that first but it was not me)

Money into noise??? That about says it. I have decided to skip road Atlanta on the theory that it is not far enough south to translate to Roebling. I'll be doning MY practice at Sebring next month--I understand that it is laid out EXACTLY like Roebling so I'll program the auto-pilot to plot the turns.

We did not have your phone number.

Johan-

I didn't get the package, but I'm afraid that I can't put a credible attempt together in time. I just had some surgery and I don't want to push things. Hope you can find someone to take your slot. My first outing will be the Sebring race in mid Feb.

hello Johan

Tom and Daisy Jones will be available on the dates you selected-
Daisy is available for whatever is needed in the food prep area, and Tom offers to help in whatever is needed at the track. So far only have the Cobra but for 2 more days on the track I am looking for a Porsche

Count Tom in for beach vollyball (combat rules or bump set and hit rules)

We can be there for the Porsche event thru the cobra event. Let us know

Looking forward to another Great Event.

Tom and Daisy Jones

Question

Johan, Mike-

Are either of you signed up for next weekend's extravaganza at Sebring? Hope to see you there, its my first race outing with the e class 944 turbo s. I can't wait to see what expensive oversights went into the construction of this thing! I am hoping to avoid converting any more dollars into noise (especially the grindy-clunky ones).

If you aren't making it to Sebring, I assume that you will make it to Renn Reunion-- that would be a perfect venue for Johan's RS while Mike and I can run in the catch-all group for PCA guys.

Remember, man does not live by track days alone, sometimes he just has to race--

Rick,
What are the dates on this event? I have a wedding on the 14th, but could run up on Sunday, may even drive the Cobra, if nice out. (I do not want to learn how to put the top on.)
Gainesville is the following weekend.
Love to see you again.

Terry Lee-

Its the 13th, 14th and 15th-- I'm sure that a few WEENIES will use Valentines day as an excuse not to be there, but us serious guys will not allow the prospect of 6 months in the doghouse and the potential of a very DRY spring get in the way of short-term racing gratification. To those timid souls I say-- "God gave you a right hand, use it!"

Rick my current plans are to run the Road Atlanta PCA race, the HSR Savannah race in Group 1, The Mitty in Group 8 if Savannah goes well. Then chill until the Willis with maybe some talk of Watkins Glen HSR. Then Roebling PCA race later in the year. I am sure some curve balls will be thrown my way and one of these may not happen. I also have talked about the Rennsport Reunion as possibly a spectator.

Mike-

Glad to see that you are still at it! I will prpbably sign up for Road Atlanta this weekend and run the I stock n/a so that the turbo will be ready for Renn Reunion. I just saw that the 944 cup will be integrated into my run group, so I can kill two birds with one stone--sure you can't be tempted?\
