Wink Say What, Mon

I got a phone call last night about 7:30 from my mechanic, and everything is back together and oil pressure is back up to 60.

I will pick the car up today after another oil change and load in trailer. I should be ready to run if nothing else happens.

I even reloaded my "SunPass." Man, I really love that thing for pulling the trailer and those damn toll booth lines and not having to undo my seatbelt and dig for my wallet at everyone. Only problem, need to keep checking the balance, because those multiple axles really suck the $$ out of it. I think they even count the Cobra inside.

Ed, I'll tell you the oil pressure story when I see you. Scared the crap out of me!

Default Note for ED.

Ed I found some stickers that we can use for tech inspection to put on the windshields. I think I have a years supply, if we are limited to 20 cars per event. I will bring with on Friday.

Hey guys - If no Ed on Friday: No sushi - me want steak!
Ale House or Hopps works for me

Oil pressure problem solved - watch out!

See ya,

TL

Gassie and I normally go to the Road House right over in that same area and belly up to the bar for cold beer and ribs.

Question Ed, Times?

When you get a chance, would you please post the times from this last event - at least those that you have. I'm just curious!
We all know you are "The Man" but I would like to see my lap times before we head up to Roebling.

Ed -
I left my red Motorola radios with the corner workers last week. Please hold on to them until the next event. Thanks.

Who really wants the times posted?
I mean, do you really want me to post my winning times AGAIN?
In a borrowed car no less!

Give me a few days to enter the data into the computer and I'll post the times.

Thanks to Tom for allowing me use of his Cobra.
Great race guys, damn hot though.
I'm hoping I get a chance to drive the coupe next time!

Exclamation Hey Ga. Boys

David or Bryan,
I haven't heard from your vinyl sign guy yet!
Hope you didn't forget, if so please have him contact me ASAP.
I would like to have graphic before Roebling Road.

Thanks,

Hey Ed,
I'm working on the overheating, i think the thermostat is not working properly and the water is not staying long enough on the radiator, causing the temp to rise very quickly. Hopefully is just this but for sure next time i would let you take it for a spin.

Pedro...
Man that would be great.
I'm wanting to sell #97 and buy a coupe, but I'm not sold on one yet until I see how she feels on a track.
I'm concerned with the heat inside the car more than in the radiator.
You commented that there is an upgrade ac unit so that makes me feel a bit better.

Good luck sorting out the heat problem.
I'd get the coolant system checked for combustion gasses.
If you were truly running at 250 deg, I think you may have warped the heads or at the least blown the head gaskets.

Ed, you gotta be kidding! WHO in their right mind would want to buy that piece of crap car that you take to the track and wipe everyone's behind with, especially after you beat the hell out of it!
This is too funny . Man, all I know is you are to damn cheap to even buy COOKED fish - always going for that uncooked sushi, just to save a buck! I know, the worms are free.
Warning to any potential buyers: the #97 car WAS NOT driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady school teacher!
Well, at least it got a new head job.
YOU TOO FUNNY ED! Next thing we will hear is you are looking at the SPF Peter Brock Coupe with Roush power.

Bryan was in charge of the decal project. I will check with him to see if he has gone to see the guy at the sign shop yet.

Ed,
Yes there is a new ac unit that i'm looking into buying also. I'm also thinking on upgrading the insulation and adding either carbon fiber in the interior or carpet, because i think the polish alum looks great but when the sun hits it like the other day it feells like an oven inside regardless of what ac unit you have.
I went last weekend with a friend who was racing in limerock in the GT class and i notice that a lot of the cars are using carbonfiber, and this could be a way to lighten up the car a little bit more. also, being the carbon fiber a litle bit stifer you could actualy stifen the car a bit. LLike i said this are all ideas . Ones i get her running properly i,m going ti take her for a spin at sebring or morosso my friend knows some people in their and said that we might be able to take it for a spin. I'll let you know and if you know of any autocross or scca events let me know. thanks
Pedro
