Ruble, if I made some comment about Jesse Jackson that offended you, the best place to settle it is the track. See you there. Maybe you better get some rear view mirrors off a FORD Excursion, cause you are going to need them.

Johan,
If it not named "BIG GULP" to go with his "supercup," he should rename it!

Johan - I'm going make it down this year to your shindig again - thank you in advance! Please put #6 down for Cracker under the BMW M6 category. I'm in the process of contacting DC regarding running in a different group - that is if nothing has changed since last year which appears might be the case. Any way, is there any chance a friend of John Owen and I can run this year? He attended last year as spectator and is trustworthy behind the wheel. If so please put him down at #42/John Houghton.
Have a great weekend!

Rick,
Congrats on the GT-3. We had one get totalled last weekend at the track--street car with 4,000 miles on it. The only part that was not wadded up/ruined was the left door and some instrument switches.

Johan,
Not sure what is meant by "operation cotton stretch" but the lunch is taken care of.
Us DSCC guys will be in town Sunday afternoon.
I'll plan on meeting you guys at the track on Monday morning.
If the weather forecast is "dry" we plan on bringing a few snakes to the beach house that afternoon.
Please contact me concerning the "OTC" ???
Looking forward to seeing you again.
I finally got my Cobra back in one piece, bled the new brake system and the noisy lifter seems to be fixed.
Going to put her up on the new lift and check for loose bolts tomorrow.
Have a happy fathers day.
See you shortly,
Ed

Ed, a Hooters shirt is as about as stretched as cotton gets.
Randy, hope you can come by.

Got it...
Stretched cotton!
All taken care of!
I'll call the girls tomorrow and confirm everything.
Any specific time you want them to arrive?
I'm going to plan for noon on Tursday.
Let me know if you prefer a different time.
Ed

lunch is from 12:00 to 1:00. p\Perhaps they should get there at 11:30 like last year to set up. Hell, I don't even care if they bring food, nevermind.
I'm down here cleaning up around the bar and putting together my new fathers day grill. This is going to be FUN. Remember, the dress code is grubby clothes for the cookout.

Johan
Yes I have some old bicycle mirrors bungee corded to my truck so I can see behind the small house I am towing.
My new tires are Goodyear Stock Car Specials on Aero wheels. 26.5 x 10 x 15 on the rear and 26.5 x 8 x 15 on the front. I did run them at Gainesville in February and the car stuck so well it made my arms hurt trying to hold on. That is why I got the new Kirkey seat.

It's nice to know that so many guys are running slicks on their cars instead of just on top of their heads.

Cool Ruble, just remember that slicks come unstuck like a suction cup, all at once, whereas bias ply tires have a gradual loss of adhesion. Rick, can I add Cory to the roster ? Terry, we are gonna be pretty grubby for about 4 days.
I sure hope Daisy makes it. I have done about the absolute minimum in the "learn to cook" department.
TC,DC, can you put the Tornello kids up at your place ? I've got Spydee to deal with.
1 week till T day!

Johan-
Yes, Cory will be there but probably only to get me settled in my cup car. He is on his way to Sebring that week. Cory was First in Class for the cup cars at RennReunion II by almost 20 seconds in a field of over 60 cars--the guy can really drive. He will be in my car #3.

Gentlemen and others-
I spent a very pleasant but HOT weekend down at Hilton Head for father's day and it was hotter still in that grand town of Pooler. Please keep that in mind when you come to play. Bring lots of water and for you Cobra guys, remember to switch to water as coolant or use the Nascar coolant so that when you start to boil over the track doesn't get a blast of that slippery stuff. All my cars are Water cooled and there is NO glycol in any of them. That stuff is much more slippery than oil and we really dont want to have to deal with the problems that it causes.
If you have a cool shirt, great--if not, you might want to invest in one--best $300 you will ever spend for those hot days--my son says it makes your nipples hard; wierd, huh?
