Not sure of using the Deep South Cobra Club for help here since PA is not in the deep south, but you can find out most of the answers at the following url:

There have been a couple of threads on this over the past few years. Try doing a search for them. It's a pretty straightforward process but may take a little time.

A Cobra registered in PA will be classified as Specialty Constructed Vehicle for a residence of PA and receive a PA vin number/tag. I just went through the titling of a out of state purchase of a new cobra and there are specific steps required before going through Harriburg registration process. If all I's and T's are not dotted and crossed the request comes back from Harrisurg and the registration clock starts over. Suggest you go through a Auto Tag business that has prior experience on registering cobras. The registration process took me 8 weeks. You can not drive the car legally until you receive the Vin number and license plate, no temperary tags allowed - good luck.

Happy days when tags arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C-man610, I live in Chester Springs (near Exton) and am waiting on delivery of a new BDR from TriStates. Will be registering soon. You have a recommendation for a local auto tag place? PM me I'll send you my number - maybe we can check out each other's rides when I get mine.
