Yes I am actually in Alabama just west of Columbus, GA waiting to go back home and cut up trees that my neighbor said were snapped like twigs. These same trees made it thru Ivan's hours of pounding.

The scary thing is the wind was from the North so we were on the weak west side.

make sure you check out the lovliest village on the plains, and get stocked up at J&M for this fall!

Glad to hear everything is ok, but we're getting tornado watches and warnings like crazy up here. Not sure Phoenix City is any safer than Mobile area!

My sister and husbands house is in Panama City Beach, but not on the beach. They're in Michigan and waiting to get word on what's happened there.

The kids were asking about the wind speeds and I had to tell them the wind was blowing faster than daddy's cobra could go! Being the good kids they are their answer was "no way - nothing's faster than the cobra!"
