Exclamation March '06 GIR Track Day

Who is signed up?
Who wants to participate?

March 11, 2006 Gainesville Florida

LETS GET TOGETHER AND GET A LITTLE PRACTICE IN BEFORE WE HIT THE "BIG TRACK" AT SEBRING.

Heck - I want to try out my "new dry-sump motor!"

Lets start signing up here if there isn't a "sign-up" going someplace I haven't found. I believe there is still a 20 car limit on a first deposit received basis.
Rubble, I've been alittle lax in getting my deposit off, but will mail out today.
The rest of you, please do the same so Ed will know how many we will have that want to participate. We didn't have enough signed up for the Feb. Track Date, and had to cancel.

Mail Deposits for track event to:
DSCC
3668 Misty Woods Circle
Pace, FL, 32571

Please make your reservations ASAP at the:
Cabot Lodge
Ask for Deep South Cobra Club discounted rate: BE SURE TO MENTION THIS!
$60 (Double)
$65 (King)
$75 (Executive)
Phone: (352) 375-2400
Toll-Free: (800) 843-8735
Fax: (352) 335-2321

Terry, thanks for the post. We do need a head count for this event. It is the last one schedule at GIR for the remainder of this season. I know there is going to be some tight competition . The last event had some good runs. The track layout will be the same so lets see if we can better Gassie's time.
I'm not sure the rates Terry posted will be available. I think those were for a higher number of reservations, but we do still get a preferred rate - and OPEN BAR FOR HAPPY HOUR.

Going to have to count me out for this one,my Cobra's been in pieces since I got back from the last G.I.R event, started a BIG project on it when the shop is usaully slow, but you know how that goes.... Replaceing upper control arms with new adjustable ones but the BIG job is installing a water to air intercooler system from a 03 Cobra.... Its like trying to put 5lbs of sh#* in a 2lbs bag if you know what I mean
See ya all at Sebring unless we come up with a April track date.

Cool On or Off?

I guess we are still on for this Saturday.
I'll be up Friday afternoon unless I hear otherwise.
