DSCC local car shows / socials

We have heard your requests over the years and have just not known how to make local events happen. Ed and I sat down and brainstormed ideas with the help of the ideas expressed to us over the last year. We believe we have a plan for the DSCC to get these going. I won't divulge all of the details here since some of them are still being worked out.

The basic concept - there will be regions setup based on member distribution. A DSCC officer will research and identify local car shows, parks, and restaraunts with the help of a local facilitator. The DSCC will then email out the invitations once enough details are worked out. There is a lot more to making this work but be assured we are doing our best to make this happen. I'm sure this will create more questions at this point than answers. This year will be a trial run and a learning experience.

More details will come in the near future.

FOR THOSE IN THE WPB AREA:
As far as I know, the ASPHALT ANGLES are having their "Cruise In Night" on Saturday. They usually meet the 1st Sat. of the month at Abacoa Town Center in Jupiter. Lots of nice hot rods and of course, Cobras! We can't make it, but encourage everyone close by to go. Manny Lopez, one of members usually attends along with some of the Jupiter guys. If you want to take your car, go early afternoon to register - the place fills up quickly. Last time we were there they had live music and dancing too.

Hope this may be of some help to those looking for something to do.
