How many signed up to date 4-24-07????

I remember when we had to sign up a month in adavnce to get a spot to race. Even had a waiting list!!!!!!

I am in NC now and heading back that way about track date - Cobra will have to stay up here. If I can work it out, I will stop by and help out at the track.

I will check in here before I leave to see if we are still on.

Ed, I would love to participate, but I sold my Unique FIA and don't get my new ERA until the end of September. Any more on the next Reptile Roundup? Will that be at Gainesville (I had a blast there in '05), or are you still considering Morosso? Rick Durkin, Miami, FL.

Roundup will be back at Gainesville and Ocala this year.

We are hosting an Advanced tuning session on Thursday (10 cars only).
The limited number of cars is so the drivers have all day to try different setups and try to tune their car for improving lap times.
We are also holding a Thursday Road Rally (Non-Racing owners).

Friday is our 40 car open track event followed by Friday night Meet and Greet party.

Saturday is still being planned. We are holding the car show either at Garlits or Silver Springs. Again, we are still working on teh pro-cons for both locations.

Sunday - Morning Poker Run followed by group lunch and farewells.

Dates are Thursday - Sunday, November 15th - 18th, 2007
More info will be posted on our web site soon.

Oh, forgot to mention....
Terry is chicken!
Figures he would hide his Cobra in NC to avoid the humiliation of his slow lap times.
First I thought it was only Jim Pomroy who was running scared, now Terry too??
Sad I tell ya, just SAD!

The latest Sports Car magazine from the SCCA has an article "How to organize a road rally".

I haven't read it yet but it should come in handy.

Why don't you come down to Sebring May 6th and run on a real track? They won't let you wear your skirt though.

Hope you all had fun at Gainesville this past weekend.
Moving all my toys and other stuff is a real pain!
Jim, May 6th may be a possibility to show up if all goes well; however the Cobra is now in NC - Carol and I may just come over for some fun, and to see everyone. The "skirt thing" must be referring to ED, as us Mountain Men ain't alowed to wear those things.

Guys
Gainesville was AWESOME.
What a great time we had.
LOTS of track time, and I mean LOTS!
I would have ran out of gas if it werent for a failing alternator or battery???

David Weidman and Tom Jones were battling for the best lap of the day.
Not sure who won that honor but both drivers were running very well.

Anyone got photos I can upload on the new web site?
Send them to me at: president@dscc.us
