Roebling Road event - in 2008
Just checking to see how much interest I can get for a 2-day event at Roebling Road in late March 2008.
Track cost estimated to be around $150.00 ~ 175.00 per day.
Dates are Friday and Saturday before Easter.
I'm in....
Who wants to join me?

I could be interested. As long as it doesn't coincide with the 12 hours of Sebring.
Is the club planning on renting the track or jumping in with another group?

Could be worth posting on the Unique Forum as well, in case there are some who are interested and not members of the club.

I am trying to work out a deal with Seat-Time.
http://www.seat-time.com/html/main.htm
The dates are Friday March 21st and Saturday March 22nd.
Sebring is March 12 - 15th.
Looks like I'm going to be in car heaven for two weekends in a row!
I'm going to try and get an all-cobra run group if we get enough participation.
Ed

We're IN!
Cost per driver is $140 per day.
Anyone wanting to join us, send me an email.
I'll start making a list of drivers.
I will add this event into our web store so you can make your reservation on-line.
Cheers,
Ed

I'm tempted
Sounds like FUN
This just might work out for us. Alot depends on if the place in Fla. ever sells. But the timing would be just about right for the return trip to NC if we end up spending the winters down south.
Funny thing is; Roebling Road is half way between our Fla. house and the one up here in Cashiers.

How many run groups would be sharing the track each day? In other words, how many sessions per day would each car/driver get and how long would each session last?

Could I bring my Boss or Saleen? You know, since I'm the poor Cobraless soul here.

Ed,
I say Steve should definetly bring the Avitar image girl
Tommy,
Don't worry about the small stuff, like how long of run time, and how many - just plan on coming YOU KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE FUN.

I'm not sure about the specifics, all I know is that we get to enjoy running our Cobras at Roebling again. $140 per driver is a great deal. I’m going to assume 3 run groups, 30 minute sessions per group.
I've asked Seat-Time to allow us to have our own run group but this will depend on the number of snakes we get to sign up. Each run group will consist of 15 – 20 cars. In-experienced drivers can also run in the novice group, and or recruit an instructor provided by Seat-Time for an additional $50 per day.
I REALLY hope we can get a number of DSCC members to attend. This will help convince me that there is a need to promote more DSCC activities, and track events outside of Florida.
Seat-Time mentioned they may also have a pair of track dates in January, but this is still unknown, Lets concentrate on March first. The guys in S. Fla have asked for another date at Sebring. Given Sebring’s popularity, January may be the only month we have a shot at securing a date. I’ve left a number of emails asking for dates but so far no replies….
Nothing new for Sebring.
Steve, if you are a member of the DSCC, we don’t care what vehicle you bring….
And I agree with Terry’s request, if you bring the avatar girl, I’ll let you drive my Cobra while I keep her company!!!

Ed,
March is a little far off to fully commit but unless Hell freezes over or much worse happens I be there.
