We have 15 cars signed up, so I told my Corvette Club tonight we have 10 spots. We had one taker. This is the final notice, as deposits will be accepted through this weekend only.

If you want to run, now is the time!

Bandit, if they pass tech and sign the waivers and pay the money, they are in! Bring 'em on!

Glad to hear we got a corvette to come out.
read: more victims

In intrest of lowering the cost of the track rental to the individual and the fact that there are about 9 slots left, I asked some other enthusiasts to join us. So far I have two definite drivers ('01 C5, '00 SS Camaro). I'm also working on a third ('01 Saleen), but I don't know if he will want to get his car dirty(wussy). lol

I'll round up the deposits from everybody, and I'll try to get them mailed out by the weekend. Hopefully that will be ok with everybody. Please let me know if anyone has any objections to this as I don't want to ruffle any feathers.

Tech inspection shouldn't be a problem as all cars are street legal.

TIA guys. I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Put your money where your mouth is

I've got two more drivers in for sure now. I'll mail out a check by Monday when I get their money.

You can add a 2000 SS Camaro and a 2001 C5.

BTW - To whom has contact with the track, what are the chances of getting a couple passes down the 1/4 track while we're there.

Bandit don't forget to bring Sally with you

Are there any more Cobras that want to make a few hot laps? Hell I will help you wax it afterwords if it will make you come.

I think the Gainesville track has a test and tune session on Friday nights so they should let you run the Bird's, Vetts and Camaros. The Cobras might not be able to run because of the NHRA rules. If you go under 13.99 you need a full roll cage or a hard top?

13.99, nah you guys can't duck and run from me that easily. Every track is different, but hopefully they'll let you guys make some passes. You should be able to run if you have a soft top to snap into place(ie same as a regular convertible).

But if not, you guys can watch me pick up my 11sec time slip

Sorry to say the 1/4 mile track is very busy that weekend so no runs there. If someone lives there, I would appreciate getting some place to meet for dinner Friday night and Saturday night for everyone.

The last deposit I got was from a corvette guy that Jerry Rowley knows. He makes 17 drivers so we have room for about 7 more.

Does anyone know if we will have any press coverage at this event? It would be nice if Kit Car Mag or Crusing Style mag was there. How about Finish Line? Paula it is only about 500 miles from Miami. Hint, Hint

Default Free stuff

Paula at Finish Line has sent us some door prizes for this event. They could not make the event but wanted to help out.

Finish Line is great.

aumoore - I tried to send you a PM a while back, but I guess it didn't work. Oh well, the long and short of the email was to ask if two drivers will be allowed to pay at the gate. I hope this is ok with everybody. TIA. Take care guys. I look forward to seeing everybody down there.
