VINTAGE or TEAM III
Is the Vintage wheel the way to go or the Team III / AC III The Vintage is a one piece wheel and the AC is a two piece. Any advantage as to one over the other? Also with the Vintage I would have to use the knock-off adapters, Wheel size 15''. Any info on this will be much appreciated.
Thanks Robert

You can't go wrong with Vintage Wheels. The product and service are top notch.

Robert, I have a set of Team III wheels 17" (one piece, bolt on, not mounted yet) and was very happy with my experience with Team III and the quality. If you want to see them sometime I am in the Mandarin area. Good luck.

Both good companies but I would think your choice has come down to knock-offs or bolt ons at this point. I ran bolt ons for five years before changing to Vintage Wheel knock-offs. No comparison in looks. Should have done it years ago. None better to deal with than the folks at Vintage Wheel.

Robert, I've been through my share of wheels. I had a set of Team III 17" wheels with one having large runout. I sent it back, they apparently machined down the pad on the same wheel and sent it back to me. It still had large runout. The wheels were nice looking but the service was lacking and the attention to detail was nonexistent.
On the other hand, Bob Lacey is one of those people you remember dealing with and you wish everyone operated the same way. I agree with Todd, I wish I had gone to knock offs a long time ago. Oh, and the wheels are awesome.

Not all wheels are made the same. Check offset and backset required for your car before ordering to avoid tire rubs on the body.

I have a couple of friends that have the Team III bolt on wheels and they look great. I know Bob Lacey personally and I don't think you could find a more ethical person than Bob. His 17" Vintage Wheels are what I will be ordering next week for my Coupe of course I will need mine powder coated white.
