As far as the belly dancers......assolutely!!!....I live around the corner from the el Moroccan restaurant.....they have belly dancing every night of the week!!!...Maybe you can stop by and convince em to come along (for a ride in a real, original, authentic and genuine...herptalogical automotive wonder!!)

If that doesn't work....my niece is a belly dancer and part of a troupe from LA....she would love to go!!

David--you screwed up! I said TURK would donate HIS car!!! Don't you dare donate MY car!

As I've said repeatedly, the Kirkhams ARE the first family of Cobradom. Makes me even more proud to be buying a Kirkham.

Here's the scoop--I will perform a belly dance for anyone that does NOT buy a ticket for the Kirkham.

David--I just hope you've started making those KK badges--they are set to become the most desired of all.

Guys, and The Kirkhams,

I did read this post about 6 AM this morning. I started yelling at the top of my lungs for Mrs. DV to come to the basement-NOW! She darned near fell down the steps thinking I had at the least broken something major.

She read the entire thread without saying a word. When she finished, we both just looked at each other. Neither one knew what to say. It is now a full half day later and I still am misty eyed over the generosity of KMP.

I have writtten this response a hundred times since this morning and nothing fits, nothing I can say is adequate, nothing I can do can even come close to an appropriate response.

It IS for JENNY and the other 50,000 like her. In their names, I very humbley say "Thank You" and every other member of our great family!

I give you my promise that I and everyone helping put on this event will do everything that we possibly can to make it the biggest and best Cobra event ever!

God Bless David...it is a good thing you do! I'll be in touch soon.

DV...speechless for once

Looks like I have to start saving for raffle tickets again this year..
I thought for sure I was going to win the coupe donated by the Smith Brothers last year at DVSF ll. I can see now that my winning was to be postponed by divine intervention until this year. I'm be preparing my acceptance speech as soon as I'm through with this post..
And if by some quirk of fate I don't win the car, Kirkham will be at the top of my short list when I'm ready to buy another car...

It just gets more exciting everyday,

Hey DV and Mrs. DV,

You started this whole darn thing a few years back. Remember? If it wasn't for you all this would never be happening! Bet you feel like proud parents, huh? Great folks like you make great things happen. I am just blown away by all your work and the generosity of others. Happy holidays.

Default Way to go!

I keep hearing what a great group there is at Kirkham. Sure have admired their cars. But this is unbeleivable!

DV, may I suggest that if you have more than one car to raffle you sell the tickets good for both cars. Draw one, if you dont win, you might win the next. No single ticket holder can win both. What you think.

Looking forward to my new Kirkham!!!!!!!!

Fellow car nuts:

I am not sure yet what car we want to donate. I guess I really didn't think about it. We are happy to donate a small block or a big block. It really depends on what people want. What would you guys like to see? It seems like everyone wants a raffle, which is fine with me. I will leave all of the details up to DV and company. We will concern ourselves with the car. I guess we do need to know fairly soon what car you want so we can begin making plans.

Thank you all for all of your kind words. We will do our best to make sure the car, no matter what it is, is the best we can do and fitting for a donation.

David

David,
Now that I have quit shaking enough to legibly type, let me call you tomorrow. We'll work out the how to's and when's and where-fores.

Gentlemen, NO you do not have to be present. But, I do hope the lucky winner will be present so he can drive the car as the "Lead Cobra" in the final parade.
DV

LOL Bill!
But if David and company want to put in a 4-banger, we'd still be proud to display, advertise and raffle it off for Team Jenny!

David

If you are willing to accept donated portions of the car like we did for KMP 911, I would like to do the tires again.
