Donations for KMP SFIII...
Let's keep it in one place so the Kirkhams can check one place. Same setup as the KMP 911 car--tax deduction through CF and feeling good at the end of the day.
Every bit helps--there is nothing too small or too large to get this baby put together for Jenny and the kids. DV's busting his butt again, and the Kirkhams have opened their hearts. Let's take this thing over the top!
I got the tires...

I guess it would help if I would post a list of the items that would be nice to have donated.
Jamo,
Thank you so much for stepping up to the plate first.
I will get a list together if that would help.

I've got a set of aluminum side louvers, and a stainless rollbar from Finishline. If they fit, I'll ship them. Once I see the list I may have more.

Turk.. the tax deduction year is fast approaching...for those that don't have batteries etc laying around, brand new stuff etc, worthy of being donated to this fine cause..and therefor would like to send ca$h so the builder (Kirkham) can apply same to some part he needs along the way, where do we send $ame ? one thread suggests to send it to Kirkham with a note from them that it is not tax deductible. Then on another thread DV says send it to him in name of Team Jenny CF and therefor it becomes tax deductible and he will then forward same to Kirkham....so, which one is on first base..? and to whom/ where do we send what ? if there is a tax deduction 'out' for this, then some might want to take advantage of it this tax year..if not, let us know...either way...address/name please.. thanks. bill.

Is there any way to donate an '85 Corvette to the cause?
I purchased the car from a neighbor when it wouldn't pass emmisions. I was going to rebuild the 350/700R4 and put it in a jeep, but changed my mind. The car was her daily driver, but the paint and interior are rough. I would guess the actual cash value of the car to be 3k, and I would love to donate it before the end of the year.
Any suggestions as to how it could help the Kirkham cause? Could a local CF fundraiser take it, sell it, and send the $ to the Kirkham project?
I'm open to any ideas, and I'd like to donate it before 12/31/02.

Just another reason why Mr. Kee is getting my business--which reminds me--I guess I'd better order that darn thing.

Mail box is filling up! You guys really know how to bring an ol' battle hardened soldier to his knees!
As of now, send any checks to:
Classics by Elite, Inc. ATTN. DV
3212 Columbus Rd.
London, OH. 43140
(740.852.5280)
Payable to: DVSF / Team Jenny
Please, Please,PLEASE include a short note that this is for the Kirkam project! The game plan is to simply deposit all Kirkham donations into Jenny's local account, then we will write our own check back to Dave and Tom. If you do not tell us it's for the Kirkham project they will not see the money!
Do IT NOW, before 12-31-02 for this years taxes.
DV...please do NOT wake me up! This has to be a dream...

Now that I know the car is going to be of the 289 FIA variety, I'll be donating a set of small block "Cobra" valve covers to get the ball rolling....Will see what else I can dig up in regards to the motor.......
Bill S.
PS: I've put the word out in regards to a motor for this project.....I'll let you know in a day or so as to what I have found........

If nobody can figure out a way for me to donate the '85 Vette (details a few posts up) by Tuesday, I'll call my local CF office and try to go through them. Reguardless of the Vette situation, I will supply the oil pan for the Kirkham car. When y'all decide on the engine, just email me with the oil pan you want(model/brand) and I will order and have it sent to the engine builder.

Hey DV,
Just how close to accuracy to you want to get withthe motor, as I have access to a nice rebuildable 351W out of a 1969 Shelby GT350...............If you do not mind "squeezing" in the 351W, instead of the 289 HiPo, I'm sure we can figure a way to get it from here to your place.........Just let me know......
Sincerely,
Bill S.
