Trailer/car parking
DV,
I'm going to follow up a little on Bills' earlier post about parking the car and trailer. I'm in the same situation as he is. I'm staying at a different hotel in downtown Columbus (thank you bonus points!! ). I know I can probably leave my Cobra at the hotel complex with all the other ones. Do I leave the trailer somewhere else?
More importantly, where do I deliver the cookies??? My wife and I plan to make several batches.
Steve

DV,
Any word on the trailer parking? My trailer isn't that big, it's an open trailer, but I don't want it in anyones' way.

Steve,
If you don't hear anything from DV about where to park, when you get to Columbus, drop if off in front of his place...... he won't mind
I think last year, the town of London let us use the fair grounds, but I don't know how many of us took advantage of that venue. I found room at the hotels.... out of the way and didn't eat of valuable parking spots. This year, I'm coming with an enclosed one, so I'll be shopping for a new space I guess.

DV will have the trailer / RV parking info soon. Check the www.dvsf.com site and we will post it as soon as it is available.

I'm sorry, this one totally escaped me.
We will have parking for any sized rig and security for them to boot. I will have to wait until Monday to verify the location, but hopefull the County will let us use their facility again this year.
Enough room for a couple dozen or so semis, 50 opf our "type" tailers and still have room to turn around without backing up!
OK...I will try to firm this up no later than Monday!

I'm still working on this. To make it siimple we are going to park the trailers in the "WAL-MART" parking lot, right across the street from the hotels.
Try to keep them in a group, easier for our Columbus Police Officers to keep an eye on them. (Never had a problem, but we also want to keep it that way!)
You will be using the southwest corner. For those of you that don't get along with "nautical directions" any better than I do--if you're at the front door of Walmarts, looking straight out to the main highway, park in the left front corner!
IF this changes, do not worry, we WILL take care of you AND your trailer!
DV...DON'T FORGET THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!

DV,
That's perfect, thanks. So we'll leave the cars in the hotel complex parking lot and the trailers across the street.
Now, as for the cookies..... the wife and I started the baking fest last night. We plan to make over 250 of them. So, just how many cookies can a Cobra haul???
