DVSFIII Video
Here is a three minute video that my company put together about DVSFIII and my involvement.
Disclaimer: I have been reminded that the information contained is NOT accurate. I absolutely HATE seeing myself of camera for reasons that should be real obvious once you watch the video!
The big version is about 10 megs, so kick back while it loads.
Open Windows Media Player, Click file-open (or Cntl-U I am told), paste in the URL below.

I can't dload (or it can't upload) it fast enough to see it, and I'm on a T1 at work and cable at home.
I get 6 seconds then it's a mess of chopped video and snippets of sound bits. :-(

Thanks and stuff!
I was wondering if anyone was watching the video! I have given the video plus over three hours of raw video to DV and will be sending a DVCAM copy to WeenDoggy for the DVSFIII video.
I don't know about IV. But no matter what, we have to keep it alive. I heard we are pulling people away from Carlisle the week end before! Carlisle had empty slots!
As for downloading, I don't know that will be possible. It is sitting out on our corporate servers.
Remember that some of the narriators, and mine, comments aren't accurate but I think they did a pretty good job on the video. It helps when your corporate comminications folks are car nuts!

I'd rather spend my time at a charity Cobra event, then at Carlisle. Did they give you guys heat? Tell them it's a free market economy.

I don't know how the information about Carlisle was obtained. But, we are becoming a big, big draw. There are many who wanted to attend but for one reason or another did not.
There is much news on the horizon. But I leave that to DV!
Cindyl, new member! Welcome. Please tell us a bit about yourself.
There has been some talk about getting back to the 'roots' of DVSF. Maybe we could start a new thread about it. I thought this year was great! Even though I live in Columbus, next year I am getting a room or two at the hotels.

Rick-
That's a great video. You're company must be a pretty good place to take the time and effort to produce it.
DVSF IV must happen. Maybe by then I'll have plates

Chaplin
I hope you can get your car there. I would love to see it! Post some more pictures of your engine bay will ya? I am thinking of a very similar look.
I work for American Electric Power. Their communications group does a number of the human interest type stories about its employees. I just dropped them a note to see if they where interested. Next thing I know there are two video and one still cameramen, the producer with script in hand at the Fling all day on Friday. Plus one other guy all weekend. Many of the pictures from the Fling in my gallery are shot by AEP.
They made three hard copies of all the video and one of the pictures which they have given us permission to edit for resale for the DVSFIII video. Now if I can just get them to sponsor!!!

Congrats, Great Video
Rick, It was fun to relive DVSF through your video. Watching your video sparked an idea on raising more money for DVSF IV and was wondering if your video was available in a regular VCR or DVD format?
Thanks again for bringing back the memories and the emotion of the cause of Team Jenny!
Regards,
Bob

Video
Bob, all, I don't know if this three minute video will make into the final video. I am also unaware of the format of the final video. DV has a guy that is putting a complete video of the Fling together. I will be sending him the short video you just watched plus about three hours of raw footage. I assume that it will only be available in VHS but I do not know.
I to am looking forward to buying a Fling video! I think you may have hit on something. Bank the money from the video sales to help with the upfront costs associated with DVSFIV.
