Buzz,

Count me in on the x-terminator T-Shirt, kind of goes with Eliminator. Of course the machine needs to be RED.

Buzz,
When we (actually Gary Osborn) convinced Ed Roth to do the T-shirt, unbeknownst to us it turned out to be his last drawing. (To the best of our knowledge.)

Ed died within days of us getting his graphic. The first T-shirt really holds a soft spot in my heart.

My God. I never knew that. I suppose thats what happens when you live isolated down in the tropics. What a loss to the world of car enthusiasts. DV, that print is truly a special gift from the giant of automotive caricature.
Hersh, I now see the real meaning behind your use of the word "tribute".

Buzz,
I hope you don't think I'm trying to compete with your wonderful illistration. I think it is outstanding. I only thought that we would do something similar to the first shirt which had two logos.
I know the picture I posted is amateurish but it's all I had at the moment. If I do another for DVSF IV it will most assuredly will be as professional and as close to Big Daddy Roth's work as possible.
DV, I will make a few drawings and send thenm to you. If you deem them worthy then you can post them and let others decide.
Don't worry none here, you ain't gonna hurt my feelin's if you don't like them..

Hersh

No problem at all, Hersh! I am well aware of your ability and I fully understand that what you showed was a sketch. It would take a lot of trial and error for me to capture the Dig Daddy look that you have down pat. In light of the circumstances a proper tribute is only fitting and you're the man to do it! This is not about competition for me and I would love to see your finished drawings! Could you do one with a Daytona Coupe?

Yes Buzz I did see the "inner beast" picture. I think the two shirt concept would be great. And you are right, I would want at least one of each!

Heck how about a reprint of the Roth art? I would but one as a lithograph for framing. Do we have the rights to do that DV?

GOCATS, if you reply was directed for me I am not sure what you mean!

So the first round of shirts was a one time deal? He did not give you permission to do subsiquent printing? BUMMER! I wonder if the owner of those rights would like to do something nice for a good cause?
