DVSF IV Update
Ladies and gentleman...I have final confirmation that we are go for the 2004 Double Venom Spring Fling! I hope you all are as excited as DV and I are that this is over and we can continue on with our plans. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this unpleasant time. We are working furiously to get this setup and will post with any new developments.

YOU DA MAN!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps I am just a bit to 'wrapped up' or even emotional about the Fling. My summer was ruined in many ways when it was called off.
Thanks for the great news. Good job to all involved in catching this guy. And as usual, if I can be of assistance with the Fling, you need but ask.

GREAT NEWS...!
I - like others - was pretty bummed out when the possibility of cancelling the Fling existed....and now, I'm even more enthused that it's a GO!
But...I'm afraid I haven't heard...did they catch this bastard..? Is he still alive...? Those of you in the know...pray, tell...

Yes...just read the CNN story...
I just read the CNN blurb on catching this wacko... Only one thing I'm wondering....if he's reputed to have 'suicidal tendancies', reckon you wonder why they just didn't try to corner him and let nature take it's course....? Hell, it's like a natural selection process...he's nuts...he's armed...let's test the psychologist's theories....does he really have suicidal tendancies...?
Now...he'll get some radical lawyer to say he's legally insane so he'll be committed to some mental institution and become the taxpayers burden for the next 70 years...or until some other radical judge says he's okay to get out on supervised visits....yeah, right....let's just end this mess NOW!
Sorry....just got on a tangent....gotta remember to get my prescription refilled on the way home

Aaaahhhhh! The natural order of things has been restored. Amazing how you can get addicted to something as well organized and enjoyable as the Fling. That's great news!

DV & DVJR,
I had volunteered to help out some time ago and talked w/ DV (sr.) about a special event on Friday morning. Any news there? Anything I can do to help out?
Thanks,
JP

Great news!
Interesting how a local situation can have such far-reaching national (and international) repercussions.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to the folks in law enforcement for keeping after this guy and finally flushing him out...or down...or wherever.
Hey DV: I'm sure there will be lots of Spring Fling attendees who would welcome an opportunity to thank the people who helped put this guy behind bars.

Oh, yeah. That's just what the doctor ordered. "Take another vacation this year to Columbus, Ohio in that little blue sports car of yours!"
Oh, yeah! Thanks, doc.
AND THANK YOU DV and family for staying the course!
