Dvsf Iv Hotels
Hello all,
This year, we will be using the Hampton and Fairfield Inn like the previous years. The Hampton as of 10:30 this morning only has 6 rooms left. The Fairfield has 14 rooms Thursday night, 2 rooms Friday, and 4 rooms Saturday. We have also added two new hotels:
Best Western Suites
1133 Evans Way Court
Columbus, Ohio 43228
614.870.2378
1.888.870.2378
FAX 614.870.9919
32 rooms available.
Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Pot, VCR, TV, Iron and Ironing Board
They only have Single Kings available for that weekend. Some of the rooms have a sleeper sofa but the guy at the desk said "Sleep at own risk." Very nice setup they have there.
Discounted especially for us:
$59.95 +tax per night.
Country Inn & Suites
1155 Evans Way Court
Columbus, Ohio 43228
614.853.1257
Fax 614.853.2313
www.countryinns.com/columbusoh_west
23 Double Queens
9 Single Kings
Coffee Pot, TV, VCR, Microwave, Refrigerator, Iron and Ironing Board, Indoor Pool and Whirlpool, Exercise Room
Discounted especially for us:
$63.00 +tax per night
When registering, please remember to say that you are with the "Double Venom Spring Fling" in order to get your discount. These two new hotels are just on the other side of the 70 freeway. Any questions, let me know.

Hotel
DV, the Cross Country Inn is under new ownership. The Capital Area Cobra Club is staying there. Maybe we should give them another chance.

I know a few from northern Ohio are staying at the cross country Inn. I and others never had a problem there...it's sure not the nicest, but it's the "PARTYIST", if theres such a word. Any how, it's a great place to meet and drink with fellow cobra owners.

Don't forget that the Cross Country is the home of the RAKI party every night that there is a Fling including this year, ( if you have never been to the RAKI party, stop over this year and see what really gets cobra owners in a real friendly mood. )

OK Columbus people..
Which one of the hotels on Trabue am I looking for... The Hampton or the Fairfield Inn...
Two hotels are across from each other and the one I'm looking for stand alone and you have to pass it before you get to the other two...

Casaleenie, I think you want the Hampton. It's on your left as you pull in.

The Capital Area Cobra Club will indeed be at the Cross Country en masse. We welcome all, including the original, the real, the fake, both metal and glass, as well as the none-of-the-above. We might even bring a couple of Chevy-powered renegades with us.

Yes, The CACC will be headquartered at the Cross Country. Raki is in short supply this year and will be available only to invited guests, or until BlackJack passes out.

Hey....
Might have an issue with my reservation - i.e. - no record of it?!?!? Trying to work on that right now.
If'n I would happen to be S.O.L. and have none, I'm sure everything is long-since booked up, but what are recommendations from some Columbus area guys?
I will probably just hang out wherever everyone is, but wouldn't mind sleeping somewhere close by.......
Thanks,
JP

The Best Western and the Country Inn and Suites should still have rooms available. Is anyone else having problems with their reservations?

Whoo!
Found reservations. Thursday and Friday night at the Fairfield. Rick, remember what you said... Saturday, I've got a big vat of homemade beer I'm going to bring, I'm expecting some floor space!
Good beer... the finest mixture of malted barley, hops, and racing fuel....

103 octane beer! JP, you got it! Like I said, as long as the wife is not there that night and it is just the guys then we can fit a bunch. I am sure they will have some cots or something if the beds are full.
