Thumbs up www.DVSF.com is FINALLY fully functional!

You guys will never know what has been "not" going on behind the scenes for the DVSF web site

I owe so much to John B for some how finding time in his 18/20 hour days, ( and I'm serious!) to take over the site, get it running properly and even easier than last year.

Pictures, video's, registration and even the raffle is now working flawlessly.

Take a look at a "story" written by a free lance author (Mark Bridgwater) concerning last years Fling. (This will go online some time later tonight.)

The work is out! Motorcycle clubs, the Viper Clubs, streetrod clubs are all watching and buying raffle tickets! Somebody knows we are here

DV...thanks for every thing people...thanks for everything!

Wow,
I just get the web site up and you guys start all over again! Cheesh, what's a guy going to do?

Jeff,
We have Saturday night locked in, but the most amazing thing(s) have happened for this years Fling. "We" have business' competeing for our favors! Talk about being courted, now I know what the little town whor feels like AND I like it.

I should have a "final" on this, hopefully by tomorrow AM. At the least , the Lube is courting us again.

From grief to panic to being really, really Pd'off, to this! What a ride this year has been. But...yo know I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Tomorrow, (fingers crossed) will be extremely interesting to say the least!

DV...

So DV, How many are currently registered?
Let's get a Head Count going as we get into the Short Rows.

OK, in fact I have no idea what the count is, nor the people! I can only say we are two full hotels past last year and damned near a third. Somehow before we got the web fiasco straightened out and bunches of you registered it was giving us a double registration. Taking DVSF III and adding it to DVSF IV. I had to know something was amiss when we had over two hundred registered Cobras in the first few weeks of registration.

John B, our guy that has taken over, worked his tail off, is and has been seperating the shadows from the real thing. I hope that even today, we can get a real count. He is also trying very hard to get that part of the web site functional so everyone can see everyone else!

I don't know if we have 50 people of 500 people right now!
BUT, doing the math--six hotels, (by the end of the weekend we will be well into 7) at seventy to one hundred and thirty rooms each... lets average and say one hundred rooms, times six="s 600 rooms, with even one per room and say only 70% of that are Cobra bringing people, then that equates to FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY COBRAS!

DV...can't be...simply can't be ...I am hoping for a simple ( ) 200 this year! If you come--you WILL come back! (CobraEarl)

Now c'mon DV, don't be so modest. You knew we'd blow past that 200 number in a heartbeat.

As for the town whore...if you know what she "feels like", you've got some explaining to do to the Mrs.

See you soon. Whether we have 200 people or 2000, it'll be fun.

Steve

Very nice!! Easy to navigate, not a lot of waiting at the site. And the article is excellent.
Anxious to see those of our family that are returning, and which of our family will be showing up for the very first time and, thus, losing their DVSF "virginity" and becoming full fledged Flingers!
