A "snake Bath" At Dvsf Iv?
Wendy, my daughter known to most of you as, Miss DV, is a school teacher at our local St. Patricks' School. Seems for the last few years she has been asked by you guys, "is there a car wash close by?"
Well you know we try to please everyone so Wendy asked if she could set up a "Snake wash" at this years Fling. After talking to the City of London, the County commissioners, etc., they have agreed to let Wendy use the old Sheriff's office, (right in the middle of the Fling), for a real snake pit bath house
Wendy held a few meetings with her kids, selected about a dozen of them, and then the trainingn began! I even met with them and their parents! 'HOW TO PROPERLY WASH A SNAKE-101!*
All students passed with flying honors, using "THE" DV Cobra as a mule.
If you've made the long haul, if you've got that sticky rubber stuff on your rear quarters after making a few passes down Main St., , if you've got a few too many bugs stuck in your radiator, or if you just want to help out these great kids with a future class trip to our Nations Capital, pull your snake in to the "St. Patrick's" first DVSF Snake Wash! This is a "Donation Only" car wash. No set fee! Donate what ever you feel is fair.
* No buckets, fresh water only. Liquid soap only. No Chamoi's, fresh towels only. No necklaces, belt buckles, key chains, bracelets or rings! Sgt. Bower as the kids call her knows her stuff!
Bring your camera's...this could make for some great photo op's!
DV...you know...I really do think the Fling just gets better and better and better.....

Uh-oh! I hate this. Almost 20 look-sees, and no response. Inever know if we're doing a good or bad thing!
However I have received two e-mails asking this to be available at the hotels too!
DV...we shall see what we see!

DV, great idea, and I'm sure it will be quite popular!!!!!! Plus, it will give people more reasons to contribute to Team Jenny.

Great idea.... No metallic objects any where near the cars. For safety sake why don't the girls have as little clothing on to prevent any unnecessary scratches on the cars Anybody disagree? Just let us know where they are going to be stationed.

J.A. we are talking about High Schoolers at best here!!!! Maybe if we could get some Ohio State girls, then I would agree! My care will be pretty dirty by the time I get there even with the trailer.

Ohio State Girls. Hmmmmm. Snake bath........ oh wait! This is a family event! A car wash sounds like a good idea for me. Arrive Thursday and instead of cleaning make a donation to a good cause and enjoy a cold one.

DV,
If we make it to the Fling...our son is sick...you know you can count on our support. The car will be dirty from it's tow and use. Besides, a little water, even if it gets in the car won't kill it. I had lake Erie in my car after towing last year.

Well done DV! I heard from a number of people that took advantage of the snake bath that the kids did a wonderful job. They where properly equiped and trained. I saw Mike Braatz's car soon as they where done and I don't know that I have ever seen it look that good! Personally I had reservations about a bunch of young teens washing the cars but it seems they had a great teacher!

DV:
I was planning to head over to the snake bath but due to circumstances beyond my control I didn't make it there in time So I had to clean up later that night myself It looks like you have found something else to become a staple of the Fling events to happen in the future. I'm thinking positive thoughts here?
