DVSF Commemoretive License Plates?
This may or may not be possible, and may or may not matter depending upon whether there will be a 'FLing V, but thought I would throw it out there. In Illinois, for some special events, they do a commemorative plate. It might be in recognition of fire fighters, it might be for a village or city's bicentenial celebration, etc. The plates are typically a nice design and sequential numbered. Some of the proceeds from the sale of the plates go to the sponsor of the plates. They are typicaly only valid for 90 days or something like that, and there is a minimum and maximum to the number sold. After 90 days, you have a nice momento to hang on your wall. I am thinking with the size of the fling, we would be near the minimum for Illinois (all attendees). This brings up a couple of questions to determine if this is feasible...
1) Does Ohio offer such a plate?
2) Would it be possible for non-Ohioans to purchase sucha plate?
3) Would there be enough interest?
4) Would everyone rather look at everyone's original plates so that they can see their vanity plates as well as what state everyone is from?
