DVSF-4 Raffle Winner photos...
Ed sent me these pictures of the happy winner from the DVSF-4 raffle.
"Chuck Siefke was the winner of the 2004 Double Venom Spring Fling Cobra Raffle! Out of New Carlisle, Ohio, Chuck bought the ticket at a car show in Springfield, Ohio.
It took a little bit of effort to get a hold of Chuck who was in London, England on a business trip! Mrs. Vicki Siefke called her husband overseas and told him to call DV. Chuck had no idea why he was supposed to call DV, and with the cell phone on speakerphone, everyone heard Chuck's gasp of surprise. After convincing Chuck that it was not a joke, he said he wouldn't be able to sleep while waiting for his flight home on July 2nd. "
The Double Venom car...
Ed takes the winner for a test drive...
The 'ceremonial' transfer of the keys...
The official GRIN...
Group shot..
Chuck and Vicki...
...into the sunset...
Congratulations to Chuck and Vicki....
...we look forward to seeing a post or two from them.

Nice? That fact alone I think warrants some friendly ba!! busting.
Speaking of that, fall is just around the corner and lots of folks at the picnic where asking about the fall foliage cruise. Are you still on?

Remember, Rod and Paula thought I was stealing the event from them?
I guess since I'm one of those ClubCobra guys you just can't get rid of (read: loudmouth), I will be the point man.
I've already seen a couple trees change color, so we might be in for an early one this year.
Rick, do you think an overnighter is the best plan? I'm thinking it would be really fun that way. There are plenty of hotels in the area that are a nice scenic drive away from Mohican.
If we "collectively" decide on a sleepover then I will call some of the area hotels and ask about a group rate.
Matter of fact, speaking of collective decisions, I'll go start a thread now. I can't believe it's mid-august already!!!!!

That is right! I do recall that they offered to do this years after the end of last years.
Frankly, it does not matter to me so much who, as that it is just someone! Their contact information is on the OCC spreadsheet if you want to contact them.
Overnighter could be a lot of fun. Make the hotels close to some thing to do (read: eat and drink!) and it could be good. The lodge would be nice (does it have a bar?) but reservations would be a challenge.
Any thing I can do??????
Thanks
Rick
