HEY, HERSH - - - -
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE PROPRIETORS OF "JIM'S BAR" IN LONDON HAVE ALREADY PROCESSED A SUIT FOR "NON-SUPPORT".
THE FLING REPRESENTS ABOUT 70% OF JIM'S ANNUAL REVENUE.
PERHAPS HE CAN BRING A PORTABLE BAR TO CLEVELAND.
Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY.

BLACKJACK,
You're always the positive one.. I'll miss that little town and the Bar. I haven't made up my mind if I'm going yet. Right now might not be the best time to make that decision. I just can't help thinking about all those good times we had at the dinner - Auction. Having all the Gasholes there and watching all them Cobras come into town..WoW!!. I know you gotta move on but heck, It was fun while it lasted.
I'm hoistin' a cold one for the good times ...Here to the boy's and girls of the Fling of old. Here's to the Combs' and all that made it happen...CHEERS!

Sorry Jack,
I won't be there but we will have one of our reps there with a GT40.
There is a GT40 reunion in June that I am going to fly out for .
June 16-19
WATKINS GLEN HISTORIC RACES
Watkins Glen International
Watkins Glen, NY
Maybe we can meet up there and hoist a few Rakis after the event.

Hersh,
Bring your car to Watkins Glen then come down to D.C. and caravan out to Cleveland with the Capital Area Cobra Club. Blackjack always has plenty of Raki on hand.

OK Jack,
I'll see if I can find a place near by to get a room then I'll let you know where I'm staying.
Hey Rob. That sounds mighty inticing and I will give it a thought.
I really have to move alot around to do it but if I can I will cause I really like driving my GT cross country.
AHHHH.. Raki...Nector of the Gods....

Ed - thanks for what you have done.
Hot-Jack - Good Luck.
An observation and a question...
I think one of the single biggest attractions of the past Flings has been the day spent in London... the activities, the towns folk...the whole thing.
This will be sorely missed unless Jack can find a small town to "take over."
But, more important.... has the town of London been told that there will be no event there this year? I remember in earlier posts, before the DV Fling was cancelled, indicated that they were going to devote more space and resources to the Cobras this year.
I hope they know by now.
Also...someone should formally thank them for their hospitality extended during the past years.

Ron --
Good idea to alert the good folks of London -- it was always fun going into town and seeing all of the town folks waving flags and taking pictures.
I'm sure Jack will have a full schedule of events -- he's very resourceful --

It's been taken care of folks. Jack was even contmplating holding one day in Lodnon, but apprarently the "Lakes Cobra Club" thought it would be a bit much.

Anyone that has a doubt about when and where the Spring Fling will be held, should re-read the first post in this thread.

Turk just woke me up over in the lounge, So I will repeat this post here.
I am grateful that there are people who are willing to do all the work to host us. Just can't imagine how much work DV and Co has put into these events, and run a business at the same time.
To DV, his wife, family and all who have helped:
Thank you! You guys have done an awesome job!!!
