CV99, thanks for the lead on HRE but I just looked at their site and didn't see anything vintage looking. Am I missing a part of the site or something?

Thanks, Steve

Steve: You're way ahead of me on the website. I didn't know Billy had one. Are you sure it's his site, HRE Motorcars, Freeport, NY? If that is his website, keep in mind that as a Shelby dealer, he finishes every car to the owner's requests--and I mean ANYTHING you want, he can do. Very similar to when Peter at ERA did a turnkey car for me in 1988. Asked for many personalized touches and they were done perfectly. Billy added a number of special items to CSX4252 and the workmanship is tremendous. If you want a set of TTD's, vintage or recent gen, machined for pin-drive hubs, he will almost surely get it handled for you.

cobraviper_99 ...

Dumb question ... but how do they modify the wheels for pin drive?

I could see it if they are new wheels that have not been fully machined.

However, if they are vintage wheels for example with bolt on holes ... how do they do the conversion?

Thanks.

My TTD's are new gen wheels. I would think vintage wheels would require some major mods. My wheels don't have holes for conventional studs, just holes on the rear of the wheels to accommodate the pins. The knock-off holds the wheel on per original pin-drives. The man to talk to is Billy Andrews. He is always happy to answer any questions. 516-378-5461

Thanks CV99, just spoke with Billy, he seems to be a really good guy. He said that he got them from Phil at PSE. I've got an email in to Phil about them so I'll let you guys know how that comes out.

Sometimes you have to call Phil at PS Engineering. He just did some "Kidney Bean" knock-offs for me and managed to do it in under two weeks.
