Default Exposed Roll Bar

Bob,

At what chassis number did the bar cars begin and which number was the first aluminum radiator car?

Thanks,

C'mon Chas, you ought to know stuff like that off the top of your head. There'll be a quiz later, by the way.

First off-thank you for your ever-eager chance to display your bloated knowledge base.

Brent may re-title this forum page "ERA-speak to Bob Putnam OR Pat T".

I hope Bob appreciates your 'last-word-on-ERAs-authority' or you're in for yet another chastising. Hell, they may give you your money back and buy you an FFR...just so you never mention their three letters again.

You're welcome. Now for the quiz... at what car number did they change the steering gear and mounting system? HINT: It's recent.

You'd better hope Peter and Bob appreciate you being their 'official spokesman'.

It's one thing to be an enthusiastic supporter of your builder.
It's another thing to dispense info best left to the builders themselves to present-especially since they bought sponsorship here to field questions about their products and discuss their products in whatever manner they see fit.

Besides, some newer members may not know how big an ass you are and actually believe your 'authority'.

-Naaaah-even a noob could get one look at that avatar and know how big an ass you are to do that to an ERA...

And don't forget his authoritative knowledge of MSD distributors too and many other technical tidbits! Oh, and let's not forget his top notch legal advice.

I hear they may even give him his own TV show.

Let's not forget carb cleaner and roll bar padding. But all that pales in comparison to my uncanny ability to irritate ERAChas, a virtual curmudgeon if there ever was one. Whom, of course, I dearly love....
