Delivery of 2139
It has been pretty quiet on this thread as of late, thought I would experiment with uploading

It looks like you are in for an interesting winter.
Folks, I am sure, will be interested in seeing your progress, so take pictures and "upload" them (a process that I have never spent the time candidly to figure out.)
...and welcome to ERA motormania.

Finished #2119 a year ago, you're in for a truely exciting roller coaster ride. Enjoy. I remember getting mine the same way, sat in the car till 12:00PM dreaming. Now you start to remove all the items that came installed. Two steps back one forward.
Write any time you want to discuss trial and tribulations.

Interesting casters on that one. Is that a new version that ERA has adapted? Really gets it up there for painting.

Those are the casters that we normally use for shows. There must have been some logic to shipping on them (but not from me...). Maybe they were the only ones available on the ship date.

Off to the painter. Actually I bought those casters and shipped them to Peter. He had the dolly fabricated. I needed the large casters to roll up and down my grass drive.
Bob, any answer on those front calipers? Can I use something else if Sierra is having a hard time?

ERA Delivery
I recognize the driver and partner (wife?) as the couple who delivered ERA 2137 to me here in Tulsa. Did he mention he had another ERA on the top level? That should be it under the blanket in your photo. After unloading mine he said he had just delivered a car on castors in the St Louis area.

Why aren't you sitting in it getting your first ride? I'd have that tractor riding me all around the neighborhood.

Prep for fill primer.
Quick289, yes Intercity Lines, he said he was headed for Tulsa. What a first class operation, his truck was spotless and true professional.

Did you opt for the larger front brakes? Go with Wilwood.

wolf ... Congratulations on getting your car!
Any thoughts as to what motor, transmission, wheels, brakes, color and so on ... you are going with?
Look forward to following the build, keep those pictures coming

Snakebit, yes I did opt for the large brakes. Have been waiting for the back-ordered Seirra calipers since late August. Not much info from ERA. It is time to bug Peter again.
Tim, I have engine and wheels selected, will post shortly to keep you guys interested. Not firm on transmission yet, most likely TKO. I have one in my 69 mustang but as most know, it does not shift all that buttery.

Good grief - your moving ahead at the speed of light. I feel like a snail. That's what I get for going back to work and a record hot summer here.
Looks good.
